Once upon a time, in a bright summer sky, a small raindrop lived inside a white cloud. When the cloud became full, the raindrop slowly began to fall toward the Earth. The gentle wind guided it on its journey, making it spin happily through the air. It landed on a green leaf, stayed there for a moment, and sparkled in the sunlight. Then it rolled down to the ground, watching the tiny creatures around it and wondering what adventure awaited it next.

The small raindrop was in a park. It had to be careful because some kids might step on it. It was scared when a small ant came near. “Hi! What are you doing here?” he asked. “I’m lost!” the raindrop replied. The ant took it near a tree. “I need to find some friends and a river too,” the raindrop told him. The ant gave it directions to the river, but he couldn’t go with the droplet because he had to stay with his huge family. The raindrop said goodbye to the ant and prepared for its new journey.

The raindrop started slowly walking, following the directions the kind ant had given it, feeling a bit hot because of the scorching summer sun. It started feeling a bit sweaty…only to realize the sun was so hot that it had started to evaporate from the heat.
The little raindrop started panicking, the breeze helping it to move to the nearest shade, it rested under the bush in the kid’s park, a toddler of about 5 years nearly stepped on it, but it made it. The ant had said that the river was a bit far from the park, but it had to get there before completely evaporating under the flaming sun.
It continued strolling through the park, looking around at all the sweaty people with their kids, it was still walking when it saw a small raindrop on the fountain in the park, it looked tired. He sauntered over to it, he tapped it, getting its attention.

The little droplet gently touched it and said "Hello, my name is Sparkle, what's yours?" "I'm Little light" the fountain droplet answered, instantly waking up. "Could you please help me? I'm looking for the river, I'd like to join my family and friends, I feel a little lonely here in the Earth". "Of course" Little Light replied, "Can you see that road sign? You have to walk a little, then turn left and you'll arrive at the river. Bye bye and good luck!"
Sparkle followed the indications and arrived at the river; she dived into the water and was very happy to find the family and friends who had left in the cloud.

Sparkle jumped into the cool river with a tiny splash. She felt so happy and safe at once. All around her were other raindrops laughing and dancing in the water.
“Welcome back!” they shouted. Sparkle told them about the ant, the park and Little Light from the fountain. The river carried her gently along and she wasn’t scared anymore. Soon, the warm sun lifted her back into the sky where she became a cloud again, ready for a new adventure with her friends.
