One night, Becky gathered all nine of her children around the fire to tell them a story. She gathered Joseph, and Raina, and Cleo, and Benjamin, and mark, she gathered Lisa, Mia, and Haley and she gathered Little Arabella. 

“Sit down, sit down. Children, I will tell you a story.” Becky said. All the children were fascinated. Mia made an anxious face. “Will it be a story about a princess?” 

“Nooooo!” Cried all the boys. 

“No children, not today.” Becky told them. Mia drooped. Mark clapped. Arabella started to cry. “Mooooooommmmmmyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!” She cried. “IIIIIIIIIIIII want a story with a PRINCESS! PRINCESS, PRINCESS, PRINCESS!!!!!!” Becky sighed. 

“Well, I was going to tell you about the big bad wolf, but I have a new idea.” And with that she pulled a dusty book from her shelf.

“In a time before rain, and thunder, It was a warm summer morning in the small village that Selina lived in.” 

“Selina was a very happy girl, with blond hair, and eyes as blue as the sky. She lived on a farm with her mother and father. She loved to sing. She would sing as she harvested carrots, and when she read a book.”

“One day, Selina fell in love with a kind man named Jason. The two were very happy together, and after some time, asked to get married.”

“But their parents did not agree with that. They said no, because Selina’s family was poor, and Jason’s parents did not like that. And Jason’s family was rich, and Selina’s family did not like that.”

“Jason’s parents were wealthy and popular, so they personally knew king Jovan, queen Ginevera, and princess Jewel. The king, queen, and Jason’s parents had decided that Princess jewel would marry Jason. Neither Jason nor princess jewel liked this idea.”

“One morning, princess Jewel, Jason, and Selina met in an alley. They wore big jackets and wide brimmed hats so that nobody would know who they were.”

“At their little meeting, princess jewel told Jason and Selina about brother wind. She said he would help them.”

“After their meeting, Selina went to find brother Wind. She came to a little clearing, and there he was. ‘Hello,’ Selina told him. ‘I am here for help.’ And then she told him her problem. ‘Oh, I have just the thing!’ Cried brother wind, with a mischievous grin. ‘Let me just get the potion!’”

“brother wind brought out a small goblet with a tiny drop of purple liquid inside. ‘This will solve all of your problems!’ Brother wind said brightly. And Selina took a drink.”

“After Selina drank the potion, she turned into a cloud. But at the time, there was no such thing as clouds. She was the first cloud. Brother wind snickered and said ‘you fool! Why would someone like me help a mortal like you!’ Brother wind scratched his head. ‘I will call you a cloud!!!!!!!!!!’”
