The New Deal was a series or programs, laws, and reforms introduced in the United States during the 1930s under President Franklin D. Roosevelt. It was created in response to the Great Depression. After taking office in 1933, Roosevelt believed the federal government needed to take an active role in helping the economy and the American people. The New Deal had three main goals, Relief, Recovery, and Reform. Relief focused on providing immediate help to people suffering from poverty and unemployment. Recovery aimed to restart the economy and bring the nation out of the Depression by stimulating industry, agriculture, and unemployment. Reform sought to change the economic system to prevent another depression by regulating banks, the stock market, and businesses.

The Civilian Conservation Corps began in 1933. The program Created government jobs focused on environmental conservation projects. It helped Young, unemployed men usually ages 18-25 and their families. It helped them by providing steady jobs, food, housing, and pay. Workers sent most of their families home to support their family.

The FDIC began in 1933. It insured bank deposits to prevent people from losing their money if a bank failed. It helped bank customers and the U.S. banking system. It helped them by protecting savings, restored trust in banks, and reduced bank runs.

The AAA was signed into law by President Franklin D. Roosevelt on May 12, 1933, as part of the "First Hundred Days" of the New Deal. The program was designed to boost heavily depressed agricultural prices by reducing surpluses. It paid farmers subsidies to reduce production by limiting the acreage planted on their farms. It benefited land owning farmers. Game them financial relief increase income, and stability.
