“Okay, class, remember our test over all our multiplication facts will be in two weeks!”

         TEST     

Jessa was scared about the multiplication facts test. There were too many to remember.

Please help me

    She would never be able to learn them all in two weeks.

TWO WEEKS !!!!!!

    A couple  hours later……

At supper that night, Jessa was telling her mom about the test. Her mom reminded her that she’d learned about “Begin with the end in mind.”

  Jessa didn’t understand how that would help her with her math test. 

Her mom told her to start now and practice some every day. If she did one number each day, she would learn them all and still have extra time.

Jessa got excited and said that some were easy and didn’t even need a lot of study time.

Jessa chose to start with her ones that were super easy and also the sevens that were tricky for her.
