Riya, the Red Blood Cell was very happy she was just oxygenated in the lung making her bright red! She is now in the left artium waiting for the next alarm for her mission. BEEP BEEP BEEP!  She had to go deliver oxygen to the vocal cords for the upcoming concert that started soon! But a journey was awaiting.

La,La,La!

From the left atrium, she made her way to the mitral valve.  SWOOOOSHH!! She pushed through to reveal the left ventricle. She walked through the left venticle singing "la,la,la" exicted for her next destination.

HE,HE,HE

Riya, starts giggling "hehehe", she says. The left ventircle made her float as she was carried through the  Arotic semilunar valve and into the Arota. Then another red blood cell asks Riya why she is in such a rush and she answers "The show cant start without me!"

From the Arota she is placed into the carotid artery and smaller arterioles, Riya gets a little bit scared and says "Woah, this is getting narrow." Luckily, someone helps her with her fear and tells her to not give up as shes almost there! 

From the carotid artery, she reaches the tiny capillaries of the vocal chord. The cells quickly yell, "Riya you're here." Riya smiles back and delievers her oxygen. Misson complete and now the concert can can start!

The singer is finally able to begin her concert, and sings her heart out. Her fans start to sway, sway and  sway to the music with hands up.  All thanks to Riya and her quick travel!

Riya is no longer oxygenated and turns a dark red. Her mission now is making it back home. From the capillaries she travels to the  venules and jugular vein. But before she completely leaves through the superior vena cava, the vocal cords thank her one more time. Riya happily says, "Anytime!"
