is for Alpaca

Alpaca is one of my favorite animals. They are so soft and sweet. They make a humming sound when they are close.

Elephants are gray. They have thick skin that is wrinkly and not hairy. Their truck is used to pick up things like food to put it in their mouth. They use their trunk as their hands.

Frogs are small animals. They can jump really far and really good. They can be green, brown, and gray in color. They have slimy skin and long legs.

Goats can live in the wild or be kept as pets. They have horns on their head. People have goats as pets for their milk and wool.

Horses are large and very strong. They can be used for many different things like working around the farm and riding for fun.

Inchworms move their bodies in a way that they inch. They stretch out their body and then bring their backs to the front and so on.

Jaguars have large heads and big legs. They hunt alone at night. They also can climb and swim very well.

Kangaroos have thick hair that is gray, brown, or red. They jump on their hind legs and go very far. They go a while without drinking water because they get the water from the plants that they eat.

Lions are the largest member of the cat family. They are a well-muscled cat with a large head, long body, and short legs. The male lion is recognized by the mane all around his head and neck.

Monkeys are intelligent animals that are good at problem solving. They live in groups that are their family members. Monkeys use facial expressions, body movements, and different noises to communicate with one another.

Newts are like frogs. They have legs for walking. They have long tails for swimming. They are small and can be easily held in your hand.

Ostriches can not fly but they can run really fast. They have small heads, a short wide beak, and big brown eyes that are protected by long eyelashes.
