Robbie and Chloe woke up with a yawn on the first day of spring to a bright new dawn.

"Look!" said Chloe "The flowers are in bloom! I see pink, yellow, red and a sky full of blue!

It's sunny and warm- hip hip hooray! Let's go outside and have a kickabout day!"

Robbie grinned, "That sounds like fun! Let's find our football and run, run, run!"

Where is our football? Where could it be?

They lifted the houses, the towers so tall, dug deep to the bottom beneath it all.

They rummaged and shuffled and moved things around...

But no little football was anywhere to be found.

Next was Robbie's bedroom- oh what a sight! There were lego bricks scattered left and right.

They tiptoed carefully, clearing the way, past dinosaurs roaring and robots at play.

They looked and searched from the door to the bed...

"But no football there," Robbie sadly said.

Where is our football? Where could it be?

Then into Chloe's room they crept, where ballerinas twirled and dolls all slept.

They tiptoed through dancers in a grand parade,

Through a tea party set so neatly laid.

They shuffled through cups without one tiny clink...

But no football there- what did they think?

Robbie smiled, feeling brave once more, "Let's keep searching like we did before!"
