Tony loved spending time with his dad. They played soccer together, feed the farm animals, and played card games every day.

One cold morning, Tony noticed the house was very quiet. Dad wasn't there anymore, now his couch was empty. Tony didn't understand why. A million of questions filled his mind.

A heavy feeling filled Tony's chest. "I feel...something I don't know," said Tony. Suddenly, a little gray cloud floated above Tony.

Sometimes the cloud felt big and heavy. Sometimes it felt sharp, like it could poke Tony. Other times, the cloud felt soft and slow. Tony learned that all these feelings were called grief.

As time went on, Tony's clouds started changing colors. Tony experienced different feelings. When Tony felt it hard to believe dad was really gone, a gray cloud appeared above him.

Other times, Tony felt anger and frustration. Tony didn't understand why dad was gone. He questioned himself, "Why did this happen to me?" When Tony felt angry, red clouds appeared above him.

Tony also felt confused and guilty sometimes. "Did I do something wrong?....If only I had..." Tony said to himself. When Tony felt confused, purple clouds appeared above him.

Tony's teachers, family, and friends helped him. "It's okay to feel sad, angry, or confused. You can take a deep breath, talk, or draw" they said to him.
