My name is Camilia and I like to talk. 

My teacher calls me a chatty Cathy sometimes; she’s so silly. She knows my name is Camila. 

In class, I like to chat with my friends when we work. But... sometimes I can chat too much.

Whenever my friend is talking about something exciting, like our favorite animals, I just have to say how much I love it too!

"My favorite animal is a giraffe. I love their col-" Mia says

"I LOVEEEE giraffes too! My favorite animal is a Tiger. I love their stripes and how they roar!" I say 

"Camila, we have to wait our turn to talk when others share" Mrs. Perez says to me

I know I have to wait, but sometimes it's so hard not to talk because I'm so excited and I don't want to forget.

It feels really hard not to talk when I'm excited. It feels really, really hard when I know the answer!!

"Ok, class, I need your help on this question. " Mrs. Perez says

"Ohh Ohh, I know Mrs.Perez! I know it!!" I say out loud

"Camila, I pick students who raise their hands and don't blurt—next time, with your hand up please." Mrs. Perez says to me 

I know sometimes I can talk a lot and blurt out answers, but it's not all the time.

Sometimes I can be quiet too. Like when I am really focusing.

I can be quiet when I'm drawing an important picture.

Or I can be quiet when I'm brainstorming new ideas.

When I focus super hard, I can get quiet and also lost in my thoughts.

I get distracted and have a hard time doing my work.
