To Mrs. Hufnagel, the superhero of Room 21.
Thank you for your kindness and your patience,
and for the way you help our minds grow.
Thank you for the stories, the laughter,
and the hugs when we need them most.
You make our classroom feel like a place
where we are safe, loved, and ready to shine.
With so much love,
Your Room 21 Students

Some superheroes fly high up in the sky.
Some zoom through the clouds as they race right by.
Some wear shiny capes that sparkle and glow…
But the greatest superhero is someone we know.
Her classroom is busy, her heart is so big.
She teaches, she helps, she laughs and can jig.
Her name is Mrs. Hufnagel — kind, patient, and smart.
A real-life superhero with a super strong heart.
Some superheroes teleport far, far away,
Saving their friends in the blink of a day.
Tucker thinks Mrs. Hufnagel could do that too —
She keeps him safe when loud alarms ring through.
She teaches penguin math and helps numbers make sense,
With calm, caring words and patience immense.
If danger appeared, he knows what she’d do…
She’d gather the class and teleport them right through.

Some superheroes turn invisible when needed,
Sneaking past villains who thought they’d succeeded. Desmond thinks Mrs. Hufnagel might have that great skill,
Helping her students learn safely and still.
She makes learning exciting and fun every day,
Giving extra time on Epic so stories can stay.
With recess and laughter and kindness to spare,
She shows every student how much she can care.
Some superheroes have amazing animal might,
Running like cheetahs or soaring in flight.
Abir thinks dog power is her special surprise,
Because she has Sailor — loyal and wise.
She celebrates birthdays with joy and delight,
Making each student feel happy and bright.
With smiles and warm moments she shares every day,
Her classroom feels welcoming in every way.

Some superheroes are strong as can be,
Lifting huge tables with superhero glee.
Maggie thinks Mrs. Hufnagel has strength deep inside,
The kind that helps students feel safe and full of pride.
She says hello kindly each morning they meet,
And makes tricky math lessons feel simple and sweet.
With courage and care in all that she’ll do,
She helps Maggie learn and believe in herself too.
Some superheroes spread kindness wherever they go,
With warm gentle hugs and a comforting glow.
Ellie knows Mrs. Hufnagel’s hugs feel just right,
Turning gray mornings sunny and bright.
They dance along to Danny Go songs full of cheer,
Laughing and learning throughout the whole year.
When Ellie feels worried or just needs some love,
Her teacher’s kindness fits like a glove.

Some superheroes fly quickly from place to place,
Zooming around with incredible pace.
Quinn thinks Mrs. Hufnagel could soar through the room,
Helping each student and chasing away gloom.
She is so nice to the class every day,
Teaching new things in her thoughtful way.
With wings made of kindness (at least that’s her guess),
She helps every child feel calm and feel blessed.
Some superheroes have magical teaching powers,
Helping young minds grow stronger by the hour.
Olivia knows Mrs. Hufnagel helps her learn,
Through stories and lessons at every turn.
Storytime Online makes reading a delight,
Books filled with wonder from morning till night.
With patience and warmth in all that she’ll do,
She helps Olivia shine and grow confident too.

Some superheroes help everyone they meet,
Making each challenge feel easier to beat.
Deniz thinks Mrs. Hufnagel is the nicest around,
Spreading kindness wherever she’s found.
She gives them free choice and time to explore,
Opening learning like a magical door.
With smiles that brighten the whole busy day,
She shows them new paths along the way.
Some superheroes flip and tumble through air,
Landing with style and superhero flair.
Luke thinks Mrs. Hufnagel might do front flips too —
Imagine that happening right in the room!
She shows special pictures the class loves to see,
And makes math feel as easy as can be.
With laughter and learning packed into each day,
She turns every lesson into time to play.

Some superheroes have more than one power,
Growing stronger with each passing hour.
Nora thinks Mrs. Hufnagel has math skills and heart,
Two mighty powers that set her apart.
She loves hearing stories of Sailor the dog,
And solving new problems that clear learning fog.
With kindness and wisdom in all that she’ll do,
She helps Nora believe she can succeed too.
