What is Cyberbullying?
According to kidshealth.org, Cyberbullying is when someone uses technology (like phones, apps, or social media) to mess with, threaten, embarrass, or target someone else. Mean texts, rude comments, hurtful posts, or even sharing someone’s personal info, photos, or videos to try to make them feel bad are all examples of cyberbullying.

Why is Cyberbullying harmful?
Online bullying can make someone feel anxious, sad, or stressed, mess with their sleep and appetite, and make it hard to focus at school. If a person is already struggling with depression or anxiety, it can make things worse.
Cyberbullying can also get the bully in trouble. Schools may suspend students or remove them from activities, and some cases can even lead to legal consequences if laws are broken.

How can I stand up to Cyberbullying?
1. Tell someone you trust. A parent, teacher, counselor, or other adult can help.
2. Take a break. Step away from your device, don’t respond, and don’t forward mean messages.
3. Save evidence. Screenshots or copies of mean messages can help if you need proof later.
4. Report and block. Most social media, email, and phone services let you report abuse or block bullies.
5. Stay safe online. Keep passwords private, share personal info carefully, and think before posting photos or messages.

What is Cyberstalking?
According to kids.kiddle.co,
Cyberstalking is when someone uses the internet, phones, or social media to follow, bother, or scare another person repeatedly. It’s like regular stalking but happens online, and it’s against the law in many places. Cyberstalkers might send mean messages, spread lies, or try to find personal info like your address, school, or photos to make you feel unsafe.
