Melody's Adventures: Sports Day

The Characters

JESSIE wore a pink coat, red dress and red shoes.

AVA wore a red dress and red shoes.

VERUCA wore a yellow dress, a handbag, and orange shoes.

SAN wore a red top, blue dress, and brown shoes, and is short.

MISS SANRIO wore a red top, blue dress, and brown shoes, and is tall.

MR. RULE is the headmaster, had white hair, and grey clothing. 

MRS. MEAN wore yellow clothing and was very strict.

MELODY was a bunny, have a pink hood, had big eyes, and 

holded a flower.

HELLO KITTY was a cat, had a bow, six whiskers, and wore a red dress with fat legs.

KEROPPI was a green frog with big eyes.

CINNAMROLL was a boy dog, had big floppy ears, and was white.

JACK wore green clothing.

EVERY DAY

   Melody was in her bed, as usual. She slept very soundly and she was very happy. 

   After in Book 1, she broke her rubber duck Squishy, Melody brought a new rubber duck. It was not very loud. 

   The duck was called Smile, because it smiled a lot.

   Melody hugged Smile in her bed, waiting for her alarm. 

   She thought the day was very ordinary.

    RING A RING A RING A RING! went Melody's clock. Melody groaned. She hated waking out of bed. 

   She stopped the clock from ringing, and she crept out of bed and wore her school uniform. 

   Next, Melody went to brush her teeth, and played with Smiley, as she did in Book 1. 

   But this time, she didn't put her toothbrush in Smiley's mouth.

   And with that, she went downstairs to eat breakfast.

    It was fruit. Today, Melody ate a banana. It was one of Melody's favourite fruits. 

   (It's not really mine though!)

   Melody ate quicker, but remembered not to get distracted by a butterfly and bee. 

   Melody ate her banana, to catch School Bus 1.

    Melody finished her banana. School Bus 1 had not arrived yet. Melody waited outside of her home.

   She began to feel bored. She looked at her car. It was a Rabbity GL (a normal car, like the VW Polo.) 

   She went to look at the 'stop' sign to let the bus know it was going to stop. 

   Melody went to her house and made sure she had everything.

   She did.

    A moment later, School Bus 1 arrived. It picked up Melody. 

   A reason why Melody loved traveling on this School Bus was because on that school bus, Melody's friend Cinnamoroll was on the bus, with Hello Kitty. 

   Melody went into the bus, and tried to find Cinnamoroll. She only found Hello Kitty, sitting with Ava.

   A little later, the school bus arrived at Cinnamoroll's house. 

   "MELODY!" screamed Cinnamoroll.

   (Melody did not say anything because she was looking at Hello Kitty, and tapping on her because melody wanted to talk to Hello Kitty.)

   When Melody finally realized Cinnamoroll was in the bus, Melody began chatting to Cinnamoroll.

   "I want to marry you," said Melody. 

   (Cinnamoroll was a boy)

   "But I do not want to marry you," said Cinnamoroll. "I want to marry Hello Kitty, Ava, or San instead." 

   "You are MEAN! I thought you love me like the others!" screamed Melody.

   Cinnamoroll spotted at Melody. Melody spitted back.

SCHOOL BUS 1 

NEXT STOP: HAPPYLAND CITY SCHOOL

   Soon, School Bus 1 arrived at Happyland City School. 

   "Woo hoo!" everyone cheered.

   And that's what everyone did.

   "Thank you," said Melody.

   "Really much thanks," said Hello Kitty.

    "Thank you very much indeed," said Cinnamoroll.

       Jessie, a bully in Book 1, found a button labeled 'Explode' and pressed it. The bus exploded, not with Jessie in it. She dunked.

   Luckily the bus driver was alive.

   Soon, all the children arrived. Mrs. Mean and Miss Sanrio had a long chit-chat.

   CHAT CHAT CHAT.

   "Jessie, can I talk to you please?" asked Mrs. Mean.

   "Why did you explode the school bus?" asked Mrs. Mean. 

   Veruca did not know what to say.

   "I am a bully," said Jessie painfully.

   "Ha! You are in my class and you are pretending to be good to let you stay. Next month, leave," said Mrs. Mean. 

   (Go to Book 8 to read about her leaving).

   After, BM (Mrs. Mean) and FS (Melody's class) lined up for Monday Assembly. 

   "Hello Kitty? Keroppi? Cinnamoroll? Melody? Jessie? Ava? Veruca? San? Jack? All here?" asked Miss Sanrio.

   "Yes," everyone said. 

   "I cannot hear you," said Miss Sanrio.

   "They are all here," said Mrs. Mean proudly.

   And with that, Miss Sanrio lead the line to Monday Assembly.

    At the Assembly, everyone sat down, ready for Mr Rule to begin the talk. 

  " I am very excited to announce this. Put your head down and drumroll..." began Mr Rule.

   Everyone held their breath, especially Ava, Melody and Hello Kitty (who hated house events) and knew it would be Sports Day. Others, including Blue House, was excited because they loved Sports Day, and loved house events and sports.

   "Please drumroll," said Mr Rule. "It is..."

MONDAY ASSEMBLY

          Mr Rule 

   "SPORTS DAY!" announced Mr Rule.

   "Hooray!" cheered everyone except Red House. They knew they would lose, even if they had one extra member.

   "NO!" groaned Red House.

   "It's OK, Red House, it's about having fun," calmed Mr Rule.

   "Not winning!" said Ava happily. 

   "But we are bad at sports," said Melody. 

   "Every house has members that are bad at sport. For example, everyone thinks I can, but I can't," said Mr Rule.

SPORTS DAY

   Back at class, Miss Sanrio and Mrs. Mean were at their desk, talking more about Sports Day. 

   "It happens on the 26th of June. No Maths, or English," said Mrs. Mean.

   "HORRAY!" cheered everyone.

   "NO!" groaned everyone.

   (They said horray and no because they loved English and hated Maths or vice versa.)

   "For events, do two running races, a track event and a field event. Track events are jumping and field events are throwing. You choose," said Miss Sanrio.

   Everyone thought.

   "PE!" announced both teachers. "You will do running."

   With the events message still in the children's heads, they were still thinking about it on the way to PE! 

   "I am choosing high jump, a short and long race, and shot put," said Hello Kitty.

   "You will practice them," said Melody.

   "I will choose the kick-jump, the explosion throw and the Fire Marathon," said Jessie, and everyone laughed. 

   "That's not an event," said Melody seriously. 

   "I know! Who cares?" asked Jessie rudely.

    "You are so rude! For real! You deserve to leave!" screamed Melody.

   Everyone else nodded.

   These were the Happyland City School changing rooms. There are three changing rooms.

   Melody and Hello Kitty are in the second changing room (from left to right), Cinnamoroll, Keroppi and Jack are in the third, and Veruca, Ava, San and Jessie are in the first. Everyone entered their changing room.

    Ava, Veruca, Jessie, and San changed into their sport clothes. They had house kit bags.

    Yellow House's kit bag was black, and looked like a handbag. 

     Red House's kit bag was red. 

     Blue House's kit bag was blue, like a shopping bag.

    Green House's kit bag was green, like a shopping bag.

    White House's kit bag was light blue, like a Adidas bag.

   Melody and Hello Kitty were chatting away in their changing room. Melody loved Hello Kitty because they were the same at everything. 

   Melody and Hello Kitty were both Red House, both wearing red, both in FS, both girls, and...both had a bow. The only thing they weren't the same was the animal, as Hello Kitty was a cat and Melody was a rabbit.

   Keroppi and Jack stood motionless in their changing room. They could not talk to Cinnamoroll, who was flying all the time. 

   Cinnamoroll loved to fly. He had his bag on a shelf, privately for Cinnamoroll. He loved his shelf. Soon, everyone finished changing and went out of their changing rooms.
