The three friends walked to their favorite trail, the one that leads to the pond. This was their favorite because they got to see a lot of plants and animals on this trail.

When the friends arrived they were admiring the beautiful landscape and all the animals that were enjoying their habitat. They were enjoying their time, until they heard a lot of noise coming from behind them.

Ty, Claire, and Ellie were shocked when they turned around to find a line of construction vehicles. They find out that there are plans to cut down 20 acres of trees to build a new neighborhood.
