Billy is a very happy bear. Today is a very special day because the sun is shining through the window. "It is time for an adventure!" Billy says to himself as he gets out of bed.

Before his big adventure, a bear needs a big breakfast! Billy runs to the kitchen and sees his shiny orange bowl. It is ready to be filled with his favorite crunchy flakes. He eats every single bit and licks the bowl clean. Now he has plenty of energy to get through the day.

Billy puts on his bright blue backpack. He packs a water bottle and a small map of the neighborhood. He wants to make sure he doesn't get lost on his way to the park to meet his friends. Adventure is waiting right outside his house!

The air outside feels warm and smells like fresh grass. Billy walks down the road and sees many beautiful flowers. He stops to smell them. "Mmm, they smell like honey!" Billy says. He feels very lucky to live in such a colorful place.

In the next yard, Billy sees a little bird. The bird looks a little bit sad today. "Hello!" Billy says. "Why are you not flying?" The bird waddles and chirps back, "I dropped the soft grass I was using to fix my bed, and now I cannot find it in this green lawn." 

Billy knows he can help because he has a very powerful nose. He puts his nose to the ground and starts to sniff. Sniff, sniff, sniff. He moves through the grass carefully with his big paws. Suddenly, he finds a perfect pile of soft grass. he points to it so his bird friend can see it clearly.
