Today I want you to notice all of the animals. Some of them look different than the others and that's okay!

The animals are all special for a reason. They are all created uniquely. 

He looks funny. Like his neck is too long.

Well I bet there is a reason for that, lets look at the sign. 

Hey! Look at that giraffe!

Hi! My name is Jeremy the giraffe. I have a long neck so that I am able to reach the top of the trees. I eat the leaves and it is also how I drink water! I drink the water off the leaves after it rains instead of bending down to drink at the watering hole.

SEE! I knew there had to be a reason.

Whoa look at the chameleon!

He looks like he belongs to Rapunzel.

What makes him special? Isn't it just another lizard?

He looks like a regular lizard to me.

Hi! My name is Cleo the chameleon! Did you know that I change colors? I can change colors because of my environment, how I'm feeling, or to communicate. I can change colors in 20 seconds or a few minutes. 

Did you know the ostrich can run super fast.

No, its a bird. Birds fly

Birds can run too.

The ostrich doesn't fly, it runs super fast

Hi! My name is Ollie the ostrich. I know I look a little different from the other birds. I have a special super power. I can run up to 45 miles an hour or 72 kilometers per hour. I can run extremely fast to escape other predators. Did you know I have a two toed foot structure?

The animals are all so different

Sometimes I wonder why we are different.
