Gracie lived in a town where everyone tried to look the same. They wore the same dresses, same hairstyle, and even smiled the same.

Gracie was different. She wore her hair curly. She likes wearing pants, and her laugh was loud and free.

Sometimes, Gracie wondered, "Should I try to look like everyone else around me?"

One day, she tried. She straightened her hair, wore a dress, and practiced smiling like the others

But looking like everyone else felt strange. Gracie felt like her sparkle was hidden.

Then, she saw some butterflies with bright and colorful wings. None of the butterflies looked alike. They were all beautifully the same.

Gracie went home, changed, and smiled. She finally realized it was a good thing to be herself. A bright, bold, and free girl.

A couple months later, others started to shine in their own ways too. Gracie had learned that everyone is beautiful when they are truly themselves!
