Hello Boys and Girls, I am back again. I have

been staying in a forest in Colorado but now I want 

to take another train ride. I am waiting for the train 

to come along and I will get on the flat car again. 

The engineer is very nice to let me ride but he says 

it draws attention to his train. I will do my best to 

 look pretty while I am on the train.

                                           Well here is the train and I 

am ready to go. It will be interesting to see where we are 

going next

                     KANSAS

           We are in Kansas.

             I wonder what the state

              flower is? I will

                 look it up in

              my book.

                     Sunflower state

                      OH it says it is the Sunflower 

state and the tree is the cottonwood tree. I will 

be careful not to eat the cottonwood or the sun 

flower. the state animal is the buffalo.

                  tall grass prarie 

                  Natural Preserve

                      The engineer said this is the tall 

grass Natural Preserve and it has 150 species 

of birds and 500 species of plants and

thirty one mamels. I am getting hungry but I do 

not think I better eat any of those. Maybe the 

next stop will have my kind of food."

                                                  I am getting 

thirsty and hungry.

                     Dodge City.

I think I better wait until I get out of Dodge City before 

I find anything I want to eat. I would not like to get 

shot by those silly looking cow boys.   Now I see 

something that looks good. I hope the engineer will 

stop here.                           

Well he finely stopped. I am going to go eat. 

Those leaves look pretty good and I am thirsty.
