It was a beautiful Sunday morning. The
sky was a brilliant blue and the leaves rustled in
the gentle breeze. The fresh morning air was crisp
and cool. Goldilocks was in the forest skipping after
a delicious looking Gingerbread man.
“Skip, skip as fast as you can. You can’t
catch me. I am the Gingerbread man!" The
Gingerbread man laughed hysterically as Goldilocks
chased him down the forest path.

True enough, the Gingerbread man ran very fast
and was soon seen crossing a river with a fox. Goldilocks
felt very hungry after all the skipping. Just then, she
smelled a delicious aroma of porridge in the air.
Goldilocks followed the smell and it led her to a little
cottage.

Goldilocks knocked on the door and there was
no reply. She was curious and hungry so Goldilocks
just opened the door and walked into the cottage.
She saw three bowls of porridge on the dining
table.
As she was hungry, she tried a spoonful from
the biggest bowl of porridge but it was too spicy.
Goldilocks tried the porridge from the medium
sized bowl but was too sweet. There was one last
bowl left on the dining table. Goldilocks tried the
last bowl of porridge and it was perfect and she
finished it all up.

After the meal, Goldilocks felt sleepy so she
went upstairs to the bedrooms where she tried the
largest bed but it was as hard as a rock. She tried
the medium sized bed but it was uncomfortable as
it felt as if there was a pea under the mattress.
Lastly, she tried the third bed which was
the smallest and the most comfortable bed.
Goldilocks climbed onto it and fell into a deep
slumber on the little bed.

When the bear family came back from their
morning walk, Mommy Bear was shocked and
upset to see the whole house in a mess. Someone
ate from all the bowls of porridge on the dining
table and Baby Bear was very sad that his porridge
was all eaten up.
