One day, Little Mouse, White Bear, and Sitting Duck were at White Bear's
cave studying for Chief Mize's big test.
"I'm tired of studying" said White Bear. "But we MUST continue studying"
insisted Little Mouse.
"Whatever" quacked Sitting Duck, immediately closing her book.
"I promise once I take a break, I will start studying again" yawned White
Bear.
"I never heard of such a thing...." said Little Mouse, her words trailing off.
White Bear walked over to her bookshelf to grabbed a new book. But when
she moved a book, a strange piece of paper fell to the ground...
"Hey, what?" said White Bear looking under her foot to see what she stepped
on.

"What is it?” asked Little Mouse.
“I’m not sure?” said Sitting Duck.
“I think it’s a treasure map!” shouted White Bear, her voice echoing through
the cave.
"Well, what does it say?!” asked Little Mouse, jumping with excitement.
“It says, to those who seek, a great treasure will be earned.” said Sitting
Duck. “Whatever that means.”
“It means, that if we follow the map, we’ll find a great treasure! Let’s go!”
shouted White Bear.
“But... What about the test, we need to study!” Little Mouse, tried to interject.
“If we find treasure, we won’t need to study!” said Sitting Duck smugly.

The friends set out to find the treasure but they were not sure exactly where
they were headed just yet.
"We need to look at this map carefully" said White Bear.
"Otherwise we will be lost!" cried Little Mouse.
Sitting Duck intensely stared at the map.
"You know… I am pretty good at reading maps. I am a visual thinker and I
am aware of my surroundings. As you can see here on the map, we are
near water and also it shows a picture of a boat!" quacked Sitting Duck.
"Hey, Sitting Duck was right, I see something over there" said White Bear.
The adventurers hurried along the dirt path, through the jungle, and found
themselves on an ominous looking beach...

"Well let's hop to it! We need to get back home and get ready for the big test"
squeaked Little Mouse.
"The map says we need to go north, toward that island. We need to be at a
45 degree angle for accurate wind speed" stated Sitting Duck.
"Your Spatial-Visual intelligence is on point" said Little Mouse.
"Duh" quacked Sitting Duck.
"Are we going to continue to complement each other or are we going to find
the treasure?" growled White Bear.
"OK! OK!" said Little Mouse and Sitting Duck.
The adventurers got on to the boat, along with some food and water for the
journey. With a strong gust of wind, the boat slowly set sail into open
waters...

"Uh... Who's going to steer this thing? Because I can't see over the Bears
head" said Little Mouse.
"Uh-oh, I can't steer with wings" quacked Sitting Duck.
"Hold on, I remember reading about something in one of my books back
home. There was a monkey named Gardner who was really smart and he
talked about these intelligence's" remembered White Bear.
"One of them talked about working together to accomplish a task. Maybe we
should try that now" said White Bear.
The adventurers went to the top deck of the boat. Sitting Duck flew up on top
of the mast. White Bear took hold on the steering wheel and bumped Little
Mouse onto the steering wheel.
"OK team we can do this!" cheered White Bear.

The boat shifted and swayed as the adventurers attempted to steer the
boat.
"Get me off this wheel, I am a mouse! Not a hamster!" shouted Little
Mouse, as she tried to run on the ships steering wheel.
"Mouse, you have to run left and right, while I hold one of the grips" said
White Bear through gritted teeth.
"Uh guys! I think I see something coming up fast!" said Sitting Duck
nervously.
All of a sudden a huge devastating sound filled their ears... CRAAACCK!
Even though the adventurers worked as hard as they could, the ship had
wrecked! White Bear caught Little Mouse just in time before she flew over
board. Sitting Duck flew up into the air to avoid falling off the mast.

"Seriously?!" Little Mouse shouted. "We should have stayed home and
studied! We've crash landed on an island!"
"Isn't the treasure on an island?" White Bear tried to reassure Little Mouse.
"Yes, but as you can see from the trees over there, we barely left the beach
we started from" Little Mouse squeaked angrily.
Sitting Duck looked at the map again, "The hamster has a point there."
All of the sudden, the water near the wreckage began to stir, something rose
from the deep...

A giant Sea Monster rose from the water. It tilted it's head and said "Is
everything okay over there?"
"No! It's not okay! We just wrecked our boat and I want to go home and
study!" Little mouse squeaked, rather shortly.
"We were hunting a treasure that's suppose to be on that island" Sitting Duck
said pointing to the island over the horizon. "And we got shipwrecked."
"Oh, well in that case, how about I give you a ride!" The Sea Monster said,
swimming to shore so they could jump on board.
"Yeah, sure... lets get on the giant scary sea monster's back..." whispered
Sitting Duck.
The adventurers climbed onto the sea monsters back....
