I was looking at the stack of toys putting 

weight on the miniature shelves.I heard 

footsteps coming closer.I didn't dare to 

look back.My heart skips a beat every 

second I get nervous.the toys were telling 

me to turn back and run away.BAM! This is 

only the beginning.

It's all started at the day before Halloween.People 

mostly say the day after Halloween is the scariest, 

but for me the day before is the scariest.My 

parents were going out to buy candy at the last 

second.Of course I had to come because then I'll 

be home alone and unfortunately my parents do 

not think I'm old enough to stay at home.When 

we reached Walmart I raced to the the toy 

center.My body filled with excitement   seeing all 

the toys.It was breathtaking.While I was looking 

at the toys and perhaps play with them too, I 

heard footsteps.A guy hands cover my mouth to 

avoid me from screaming

I did not know who was the guy.He was 

holding me tighter and tighter that I 

couldn't breathe.The guy was leading 

me to his car.I struggled to get 

out,putting as much pressure I can.I 

looked at his license plate and 

muttered '' a weird license plate for a 

weird guy.When he open his car 

door,there were only one option left,I 

kicked him and he fell in pain

I ran as far as my skinny legs can go.All that 

practicing laps in P.E is finally paying off.I met up 

with my parents at the candy section.My parents 

told me Sweetie do you prefer MnM's or skittles? 

I told them about everything how the guy 

captured me and how I escaped and how they 

should sign me for track because boy did i run 

fast,almost running out of breath.They call the 

police and when the police arrived I describe him 

and his driving license.The police said I was a 

brave girl and find him in no time.My parents 

hugged me and said '' Sweetie we will never let 

you go ever again.

In conclusion Martha and her 

parents were interviewed all over 

the world.From newspaper to live 

television! On the other side Jax 

the kidnapper was found and end 

up in jail.Everybody lived happily 

ever after well expect for Jax, he 

deserved it.
