There was a dolphin named Joey. Joey 

lived in a magical sea. It was not like any 

other sea. In this magical sea, every 

creature has a special and unique power. 

The creature should earn it. It does not 

just come by birth. You have to earn it by 

doing something really special and good. 

Joey didn't earn her powerS yet, but most 

of her friends did. Knowing this made her 

sad. She was teased a lot. Joey did not 

have any friends to support her, while she 

was being teased, and when she was sad.

One day her grandmother came to visit 

her. Joey told her that she was always 

getting bullied or teased by other 

dolphins. She also told that she never got 

her power even if she was being good and 

generous. Her grandmother said "Your 

mom and I never told you this, but   when 

you were born an evil dolphin came and 

made a spell on you. The spell was that 

she can never earn her power by being 

good. You will have to find your power, 

which is located in Dolphin Cove."

Joey couldn't believe her little, dolphin 

ears!! " Is this really true? Why did you not 

tell me this before?" asked Joey. "We didn't 

want you to go, even though getting your 

powers are really important, your life is 

more important. There have been rumors 

that Dolphin Cove is dangerous and 

haunted." responded grandma. "Grandma, 

I know I am young and small, but I have to 

go." said Joey. Joey gave her necklace to 

her grandma, which her dad gave to her 

before he died.   

 She also said "Keep this in memory of me, 

if I don't come back in a week." Grandma 

couldn't believe that her granddaughter was 

really going to go. "I'll leave tomorrow at 

dawn, so I should start packing now. 

Goodbye!! grandma, love you" said Joey. 

Before her grandma left Joey kissed and 

hugged her grandma. After her grandma left 

she started packing. When she was done 

she told her mother about leaving to Dolphin 

Cove to find her hidden power.

Finally, the time had arrived to leave for the 

search of her hidden power in Dolphin Cove. 

Before she left her grandma came and gave 

her a scroll. She said "This scroll gives you 

clues to find your hidden power and hidden 

secrets."   Before Joey could ask what she 

meant about hidden secrets her grandma 

swam away. Joey hugged, kissed, and said 

goodbye to her mother. Before she left she 

opened the scroll, glanced at it, and left for 

the search, for her hidden power.
