Hi my name is Molly and I and I am a doll. I knowwhat your thinking, I look nothing like my sister
Barbie. Unlike her I do not have a perfect face or
wear makeup. I have freckles and certain parts of
my face don't match the color perfectly as other
spots on my face. Unlike my sister I don't have
perfect light blue eyes, a perfect body,or long glowing
blonde hair. I have average dark blue eyes. a large waist
and no hips, of coarse I don't have gorgeous hair
I have every day brown hair. Lastly another thing
I that is different between me and Barbie is her
faveorite color is pink but mine is blue.

Barbie and I both live in in the doll section at Toy
City in California. The doll
isle is beautiful, a great
place to live. The only thing
that is a little off putting
is the fact that it is painted
all hot pink and the only it is
covered in barbie signs,
nobody can even see me.

4
Another thing that makes me different from the other dolls is that I am not made out ofplastic and stiff, I am made of rubber and lose. I also am not the perfect height.

5

I am not perfect. I amnot made of plastic.I am different.
that makes me sad.

6
Being different makes me sad because my sister is so popular and everyone wants to
be like her. Yet no one is like me and some
times when I try to be nice and smile at the
other dolls they give me a mean look.

7

When I get this sad it makes me think that no one will want to buy
me.

I don't want aMolly doll I want
a Barbie!
8
But then Barbie comes inand makes me feel better by telling
me that all dolls will find their owner
we just have to wait.

9
My sister also made me feel better bytelling me I had nothing to worry about
because she hadn't even been bought.

10
But then of coarse the nextday Barbie was bought. Then
a few months past and I still
haven't been bought.It made me
feel sadder then I ever had before.
