Dedicated to: To our very own Superhero Deahglan. We are so lucky to have you as our son. We love you
beyond what can be described with words.
I wrote this book for you and of course your
sister helped a little
"Superhero's are chosen by the paths they choose and
not by their powers. Sometimes being a little brother is
better than being a Superhero."

Once Upon a time in a far off
galaxy was a kingdom that
was hidden behind a crystal
forest

This kingdom was special
because it was ruled by
an Empress named
Arabella.

One day Empress Arabella was sitting alone in her garden
when her parents walked by and asked her what was
wrong?

Empress Arabella looked up at her parents and said
"I am bored". Her father had a look of confusion on his face.

"How can you be bored honey? You have lots of
playmates here in your kingdom. Just look at the
butterflies that flutter by, those dragonflies that are
dancing in the wind from the birds singing those
lovely songs. Over here you have snakes that
slither by, those spiders that come out at
night and most of all you have two dogs
that play with you. How are you possibly be bored?"

Empress Arabella told her parents that she
wanted a brother or sister to call her own. "I
want to be able to hold them, tell them I love
you, give them kisses and play with them."
Arabella's parents smiled ear to ear with joy.

Her parents said that would be nice but we don't decide that. The
Guardians make that decision. Arabella was upset that she couldn't get
her own way and went up to her room. She walked towards the window
and kneeled. She lowered her head and folded her hands "Guardians
whoever you may be I send to you a wish that I hope you hear. I would
like to have a brother or sister to call my own. I want to hug and kiss
them, tell them everyday I love you. I want to play with them and teach
them things." Arabella finished the rest of her wish and sat quietly looking
at the starlit sky.

The following morning as the
sun began to rise Empress
Arabella woke up startled by
a Guardian standing at the
end of her bed. "Don't be scared
Empress. I heard your wish that
you casted out into the nights
sky."

Arabella was eager to see if
she was going to get what
she wanted. The Guardian
told Arabella that it was
going to take some time to
find a special child to call her
own. Arabella was so happy
that her wish was heard and
she was going to have
someone soon.

Months went by and one clear morning a
bright red flash appeared in the sky.

Out in the distance Guardians started to
appear in the sky one by one. Empress
Arabella quickly gathered everyone in her
kingdom for the arrival of her new brother or
sister.

As the Guardian's came closer Arabella's parents
stood next to their daughter eagerly awaiting the
sight of their new baby. A bright glow appeared
around the baby. The Guardian's stood in front of the
Empress and her parents. As they bowed their heads
they tilted their hands down and showed them their
new baby resting comfortably in a basket. One
Guardian stepped forward and told them that they
looked all over the galaxy for a special baby for them.
"We want to present to you a baby boy who has his
own unique special powers. Since Arabella rules her
own kingdom we wanted to find a child that will be
able to stand up to her one day. This little boy is the
tiniest superhero in the kingdom. As he gets older he
will grow into his special power whatever they may
be."
