I would like to dedicate my story to my teachers and administration at my school Beaconhouse School System Model Town

Hi ! My name is Samanah Ali Agha and I am a student of Grade 5 at Beaconhouse School System
Model Town Girls Branch.
I live in the beautiful country Pakistan.
It was a long time since our family had
gone on a vacation and we were longing for one.
One day out of nowhere my father gave me a surprise
by telling about a grand trip he planned for us.
I was so excited that I couldn’t wait for the day to arrive.
I started packing my things a week earlier going
through tiny details careful not to forget anything.

Our first destination was the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. On the way I couldn’t stop staring outside the car window as the
scenic route left me in awe. The highway was surrounded on both sides by
lush green fields and villages. The beautiful Ravi, Chenab and Jhelum rivers
were a sight to see. We passed through the beautiful mountains
of the salt ranges and Kallar Kahar. We were about a few kilometers
from Islamabad when I could make out a faint impression of the
famous Himalayan range at a distance.

I could see the Margalla Hills filling my heart with excitement and desireto climb on the mountain. Finally our car came to a stop at Rawalpindi around noon
and we checked in for a few hours of rest.I could barely shut my eye as I was bursting
with enthusiasmAfter rejuvenating ourselves we took off to Islamabad
to visit the famous Faisal Mosque.Faisal Mosque is one of the largest
and most beautiful mosques of Asia and is made entirely of marble.
Its white color mesmerizes people from far off and people come
from all around the world to visit this piece of art. We were delighted to
see such a beautiful sight.

We offered our prayers in the mosque and then left for lunch at Margalla Hills. The drive at Margalla Hills was another enthralling experience.
The lush green mountains filled with trees and beautiful scenes
are worth the trip.I was amazed as I did not have any idea that our country was
filled with so much beauty. We returned by evening after a wonderful
lunch in the midst of Margalla Hills.
