   A vacation journey with family to a lot on the outskirts,
where a new home stood. What could be more amazing?

While I was sleeping, my parents came
to my bedroom and woke me up saying
that I should pack myself, because we're
going to Kucyk. After a few minutes I
was ready. I took: my tablet, telephone,
favorite plushie and a good book. We ate
breakfast and went on our way. The jour-
ney lasted an hour, but before we arrived
we saw several interesting places.

First we passed by Podlasie grounds,
not far away from the big city of Węgrów.
A few kilometers further was a small villa-
ge named Wyszków, which was located on
the Liwiec river. Before we arrived, mom
and dad went to a store and bought ice
cream for us. I took the white chocolate tasting one,
while my brother Marcin – the chocolate
one. Julka – my younger sister – took the
strawberry one, dad – another chocolate

one, and mom – the vanilla one. Later the
village Kucyk with our lot appeared. In the
end we arrived. The house already stood. It was beautiful!
My parents looked at each other happily
and invited us inside. The house was even
more beautiful inside. My room was at the
top floor. I already wanted to climb the sta-
irs, when dad prevented me. Taking dad in-
to account there was an elevator, which ro-
de up and down. It was amazing. All five of

us went inside and went up. When I arrived at my new room, I was
excited. The room was just like my dreams.
The walls had a bright pink color, there was
a white desk, a convertible sofa and huge
television and in the middle of the room
there was an amazing balcony. Then I noti-
ced a box on the desk. I opened it and...
you won't guess – inside was a laptop! It
was cool.

I quickly ran downstairs and said thank
you for the present. My parents said, that
this was an early birthday present. I kissed
them both and asked them, if I could go to
the river. They allowed me. They only said,
that I shouldn't swim too far. I answered,
that it's alright. I took my bathing suit and
towel. And I went. The water was ideal. Not too cold, not
too warm. It was as if had to bathe. I don't
know how long I swam, but it was great.

When I got out of the water, I sat by my fa-
vorite tree, looking at the beautiful sunset.
I returned, because my mom was calling me.
She said, that we're staying for the week.
I got terribly excited. We ate a delicious dinner and I went to
sleep. Before I noticed the week passed
and we had to return home. This was an
amazing vacation, and how were yours?
