Deep in the forest of Alaska there lived a pack of wolves called Nova .

In the pack, there was a wolf named Toby . Toby was different from all
of his wolf friends . He was the smallest male pup in the pack and more
than a little timid and fearful .

All the wolf pups were excited including Toby's best friend, Luna. Luna
was a very interesting wolf, she was the color of snow
and smaller than Toby, but much braver than him.Every full moon the wolves had to climb up
Shadow Rock and howl at the moon.

For the past year, all the wolf pups have been training with Mr.
Greyback to learn how to climb Shadow Rock during the full moon.
Most of the wolves have already passed this milestone, except for
Toby.

Seeing that her friend was getting nervous as usual ,
luna approaches Toby to try and cheer him up .
Luna asks, " Hey Toby are you excited for the next full moon?? "
" Are you kidding!? Climbing up the huge rock is dangerous and the moon is evil!!, Toby replied .
"Well, maybe this time you wont be as scared , I mean , you could climb it with me! Come on Toby,
You never know until you try .", Luna encouraged

One day during school, it was Toby's turn to practice
climbing Shadow Rock, he was the only one who hadn't done
it yet. The whole class had to go out and watch as he faced
his fear.

As he starts to climb

shadow rock , Luna

shouts , " Come on

Toby you can do it !!"

Toby thinks to himself

, "Maybe I can do it. "

He starts to climb ,

but then suddenly he

stumbles and falls . He

starts to cry.

Upon noticing this, two wolves Balto & Caico, walk towards Toby with smirks on their faces and an
evil gleam in their eyes . Balto takes the lead and says " Toby , you are never going to climb that rock .
You are too scared and pathetic. "
" Yeah, Scaredy cat , I mean.... Scaredy wolf, " Caico adds. The two bullies snicker and slink away
back into the class with the others.

Grudgingly, Toby mumbles, "I will never be
able to climb Shadow Rock and howl at the full moon
tomorrow. I am just too scared."
"Come on Toby, it's not as bad as you think it is.
Tomorrow you are going to climb up that rock and
howl at the top of your lungs towards the moon, like
nothing stands in your way", Luna replies.
