Oh, hello, my name is Evan! I’m a scientist.
I’m going submarining. There are five zones in
the ocean, and I am going to the 2nd deepest
zone. (It is the Abyssopelagic zone). I’m
supposed to study the Angler Fish. They can
supposedly grow up to 3.3 ft. long (1 meter)!
There teeth can be up to 1 in long! Right now, I
am dragging an eosuit behind me just in case
the submarine that I will ride in breaks.
Something sent a shiver down my back right
when I enter the Alvin.

I put all my equipment in the submarine and settled in. I
closed the submarine door and stepped into the
darkness. I was feeling kind of scared of going very deep
in the water. It’s basically pitch black. There are all sorts
of creepy animals there such as the viperfish. Anyways,
forget about the facts, let’s get to my story. Then, I
heard a creaking sound at the back of the submarine, I
decided to ignore it. When I get deeper in the water, and
the noise got louder. It eventually became so loud I went
to check the back. Suddenly the glass at the back
shattered. Water rushed in the hole. I couldn’t stand the
pressure. The pressure gets higher when you go deeper
into the water because more weight is on you. I started
to panic, my blood pressure flew straight up really fast.
Then I remembered it: the Exosuit!

I went to the case that held it, I opened the case and
put it on. I swam down to the darkness below.

I’m dead scared. I’m looking for any sign of
bioluminescent lights. I’m practically hopeless. I only have
a foldable fishing rod and some bait. Suddenly a light
appears, I hear a huffing sound. It sounds like an anger
fish! I swim towards the light of the Angler Fish. I’m
charging at a very dangerous fish. I am scared charging
at this fish with basically armor on. I go very close and
touch it with my index finger. It opens its mouth, I swim
back where I was before, remembering that Angler fish
are very slow. They are because they wait for prey to
come to them. All of a sudden, the engines on my suit
stopped working. I’m sinking to the bottom now and I
can’t swim in this suit because it is too heavy. The Angler
Fish is coming towards me. Now I’m really scared. I truly
have no hope now.
