Back in 1893, a beloved couple bought this mansion on top of 

a hill. Before, it was beautiful with a large garden at the 

backyard and comfortable rooms. It seems as if they had 

everything they wanted until by the 1900's. There, neighbors 

nearby heard screams, roars, crashes, and a mad man laugh at 

the end. Police and detectives were sent to investigate this 

incident but with no evidences, they concluded that this house 

was cursed to be haunted. So, they closed the property and 

everyone in that neighborhood moved away, far from the 

mansion's curse. No one ever came back.

That is until today when six travelers came by. The 

first was Captain Craw fish, the most menacing 

pirate of all seas from Skullduggery Island. The 

second was Dr. Hare who's wearing a pink rabbit 

suit and is a mad scientist obsessed with carrots 

from 24 Carrot Island. The third was Director D, 

director of all spies from Spy Island. The fourth was 

Dr.Lange, doctor, scientist, and member of the 

Poptropica Disease Center. The fifth was Black 

Widow, criminal for stealing arts. The last was a 

Poptropician named Friendly Noodle, traveling 

from one island to another in search for adventure. 

These six people were trick-or-treating on Halloween 

when they saw that mansion and decided to look 

around without noticing the danger signs.

"Are you sure this is a good idea? We could just go to a 

Halloween party." asked the nervous Crawfish. "Aw. The most 

terrifying pirate is now the chicken of haunted houses!" laughed 

Dr.Hare. " Would you hurry up for one minute?!", yelled 

Dr.Lange, "This haunted house has been left mysteriously, and 

we're going to figure out its mysteries!" The group cautiously 

went inside and visited the gigantic living room. "The wife kept a 

diary within these bookshelves. Perhaps it has clues to their 

disappearance." Dr.Lange suggested. Crawfish jumped and 

informed, "Was that a vampire? I think I saw a shadow." "You're 

probably seeing things. Hey, want to hear a perfect song?" said 

Director D to Friendly Noodle. In her mind, she sighed,"What a 

goofball."   

"Nothing. I found her diary, but the last page has been 

torn. Maybe there's clues upstairs", advised Dr.Lange. 

The group took the elegant stairs, up to the large 

bedroom." May I sit next to you", asked Director D. In 

reply, Friendly Noodle said, "I rather sit alone." As 

Dr.Lange tries to pick on the chest's lock, Dr.Hare 

pulled a prank on Black Widow by causing the antlers 

to fall on her head. "Dr.Hare!!" Black Widow screamed 

while the prankster grinned with amusement. As for 

Captain Crawfish, he's seeing the real picture. He 

thought he heard a tiny yelp, a thump, and two 

Frankensteins. "I'm losing my mind" thought Crawfish.
