One.   Greater roadrunner can reach 20.5 to 21.3 inches 

in length and weigh between 7.8 and 19 ounces. They 

have a wingspan of 19.3 inches.

Two.    A bird born to run, the Greater Roadrunner can 

outrace a human, kill a rattlesnake, and thrive in the 

harsh landscapes of the Desert Southwest. Roadrunners

Three.    As they run, they hold their lean frames nearly 

parallel to the ground and rudder with their long tail

One.    The parrots are a broad order of more than 350 

birds. Macaws, Amazons, lorikeets, lovebirds, 

cockatoos and many others are all considered parrots.

Two.   Though there is great diversity among these 

birds, there are similarities as well.   Most parrots eat 

fruit, flowers, buds, nuts, seeds, and some small 

creatures such as insects.

Three.   All parrots have curved beaks and all are 

zygodactyls, meaning they have four toes on each foot, 

two pointing forward and two projecting backward.
