The next day was Anay's birthday party, and it was being held in the garden.
2

Anay and Mausi stood in front of a big pile of decorations. They had to get the garden ready before the guests arrived.

3

They had hardly started when Myra ran in. She was very upset!
4

Someone has taken all my toys! Everything is gone!
5

Anay and Mausi ran inside the house to check. The toy cupboard was completely empty! Even Minnie and Elmo were gone!
6

Who would do such a thing just before Anay's birthday party?! Anay and Mausi went to look outside for clues.
7
They couldn't see anyone outside the house or in the neighborhood... but Anay spotted something!
8
He saw a huge footprint on the playground!

9
Meanwhile, Mausi found a patch of ground where the grass had been burnt away.
10

"A dragon has taken the toys", they both said together. "We must go get them back."
11
As they were leaving, Bua drove up and gave them a bag of chocolate. "Take this along", she said. "Dragons like chocolate. It will be useful".
12
And so Anay and Mausi set off in a car, to go to the enchanted forest where dragons live.
13

It was a large forest, full of magic.
Anay and Mausi went to meet their friend Moonface, who owned a cake shop. He would know the way to the dragons.
14

Moonface was delighted to see them!
15
"Dragons are dangerous", Moonface told them. "But if you must go, you can find their caves at the edge of the forest." He gave them a jar of cakes, and Anay and Mausi were on their way.

16
There were a few scary things along the way, but they kept moving!
17
They soon realised a large tiger was following them!
18
They walked faster, but so did the tiger!
19

They climbed a large tree but the tiger followed them!
20

Anay and Mausi jumped to another tree but the tiger was getting closer. Just as the tiger was about to reach them, a giant eagle grabbed them and flew away.

21

"The wise old man sent me, but I can only help you so far", he said. "You must find the dragons yourself. The eagle left them at the edge of the forest and flew away.
22

The edge of the forest was a hot place, because dragons breathe fire.
There were dragon prints on the ground and smoke clouds on the horizon.
Regardless, Anay and Mausi were happy to have safely reached so far.
23
They followed the footprints to a cave - the dragon was in there. They hid and waited for it to leave.

24
When they saw the dragon go out of its cave, they quietly crept inside.
25
The cave was very nice, and the toys lay in a corner.

26
Anay was delighted and ran to the bag of toys. "Let's leave before the dragon returns", he shouted.

27
But suddenly he saw something! Someone else was behind a bush in the cave!
