Once upon a time there was a little puppy in town. His name was Max. He was everyone's favorite dog. He always went around to everyone's door and when they open the door and say hello Max. Do you want a treat? No one knows where he came from. People say he is a mystery dog. Everyone knew he wanted a home but no one had no room for him. That's why they wouldn't take home.

A few days later there was a little girl that moved right outside this town. Her name was Jessica. She was good with animals and she wanted to work with animals when she grows up. She had a girl dog with her and it's name was Lilly. She brought the dog with her. Lilly loves car rides. Jessica thought what would the new town be like. So after she unpacked her stuff she went to go see the town.

On her way to town She saw this dog carry something. She did not know what it was. She went up to the dog and said come here. Max growled at her. Jessica said I'm not going to hurt you and went closer to him. He finally settled down. She said drop it and he did. She finally saw it was bread and she gave back to him. She said sorry. Max's ate it so he doesn't get it taken away again. Jessica felt bad so she got a pack of crackers out of her bag and gave him one and said I was going to eat some later but you can have one and walk away

She came back from town and on her way back to her house. The dog was sitting there waging his tail and smiling and as she walked passed him he started following. Jessica said stay. Max stayed untill she started to walk again. She thought if I keep walking he will get tired and stop following me but he did not stop following her. Max followed her all the way to her house and so she went in her house shut the door. The next day she came out and right there was the dog sitting there and she was surprised. She went back out side and got a treat and got Max to follow it and they went to town. When they got there Jessica asked who's dog is this.

One lady said he belongs to no one. He always wondering around here but I think he like you. Jessica looked at him and said do you like me? What is his name asked Jessica said. The lady said Max. From that day on they became good friends. One day it was thundering and lighting out and Max was standing on the porch whining. Finally she said you can come in but be good and when he started coming in Lilly wanted to say welcome and max just growled at her and Jessica said be good or i can't let you stay in here and. After awhile they settled down.

One day they were playing out outside and Lilly wanted to play with Max but Max tried biting at her at first Jessica got mad but tood a deep breath and broke up the fight. Jessica just said they have to get used to each other. One day Jessica talked to her friends for advice on how to calm down a dog. months later Lilly and Max were just fine.

As years went by Max is about 10 years old. He was getting old (in human years 70 yrs.old) Max started hurting all over and as usual Lilly wanted to play ( Lilly was 4 yrs. old) But Max did not because he older. He started getting meaner.

One Day Max had get your shots so Jessica's dad took him in to the animal doctor. While Jessica's dad getting him out of the car Max bit him four times. We couldn't get him out of the car so we took him home and we told the doctor what happen and Jessica's dad came in and told me bad news. He told me He has to go away. I started crying. When I got outside Jessica put him in the car this time. When Jessica put him in the car she said you be good and you won't be in any pain anymore.
