Welcome to my home!

One day Princess Penelope was walking along the beach and picking seashells with Mia her best friend in the whole island. "Penelope I'm having a birthday party and I really want you to come! It's going to be in one day at six in my family's cabin", Mia said. Princess Penelope was very excited, she had not been to a party before and she couldn't wait to get her best friend a birthday present.

When Penelope and Mia were walking back to the castle, Penelope couldn't help about thinking what to get Mia for her birthday. She didn't want Mia to be mad at her for getting her something so little. What if she got her something big and Mia didn't like it and she wouldn't be her friend anymore?

" All things shiny of course!"
10
Penelope and Mia were very hungry and tired half way to the castle so they stopped to eat and rest for a little bit during lunch. Anna brought watermelon slices and grapes for her and Princess Penelope to eat. While they were eating Penelope asked Mia what she liked the most in the whole wide world. "Penelope you of all peacocks should know!" Mia said laughing. "All things shiny of course!" Mia said in between long laughs. "Of course! I was only making sure!" Princess Penelope said laughing too. She then thought of every shiny thing on the island.

After they reached the castle the two best friends said their goodbyes and promised one another that they would see each other in two days time for Mia's birthday party. As soon as Mia left Princess Penelope began to ran around the plaza of the castle to look for the most shiniest thing she could give her friend.

14
After a long evening of searching for something shiny, Penelope went to sleep still having high hopes of finding the perfect gift for her best friend.

When the Princess woke up, she washed her face, brushed her beak, put on her crown and headed outside in search of something shiny. Princess Penelope had one day left after this one ends, so she was in a rush.
