Once upon a time
there was a crew of
men who were lost at
sea and could not find
their way back home.

One night a huge storm
covered the sky and threw
the ship around in the water
for five hours until they had
washed up on a sand bar
just off the coast of what
looked to be a small island.
Exhausted and tired from
trying to keep the ship from
sinking, the crew agreed to sleep
until he storm was over.

That morning the crew
woke up and noticed that
they could not get their
ship to move off of the
sand bar. So they decided
to swim to the small
island to see is they could
find anything.

When they arrived on the island, the
youngest members of the crew, Clay,
had noticed a small mountain peaking
over the tree tops in the middle of the
island. Clay had suggested that they
walk to the top of it to see if they could
see other land nearby or a passing ship
that could rescue them.

When they had all reached the top, there were two fairies
waiting for them. The fairy on the right was beautiful with long
shiny blond hair and stunning blue eyes. She wore a pink
shimmery dress that sparkled in the sun light. The beautiful
fairy greeted the crew and introduced herself as Fairy Lush.
She told the crew that she could grant them one of their
hearts deepest desires.

The fairy on the right had long brown hair and
green eyes; however she was not as beautiful as
Fairy Lush. She wore a plain brown dress that
looked a little ragged and dirty.
She introduced herself
as Fairy Ella. She told
the crew that she could
only grant them one
wish with what they
truly needed. Paying
little attention to Fairy
Ella as she introduced
herself, the crew was
mesmerized by the
beauty of Fairy Lush.

Eagerly, one of the men from the crew stepped
forward to ask Fairy Lush for his wish. He
demanded 100 pounds of gold and with a wave
from her wand; the gold appeared in front of the
man.

A second member of the crew leaped forward and
asked her to make him the strongest man on
Earth. Fairy Lush smiled, waved her wand, and
granted the man his wish.
