Willow was a gifted student. She mostly got perfect scores on her tests.

Perfect!!

But in her gifted education class, she was nowhere near the smartest. She never did good on the tests. In her first grade gifted education class, they learned sixth grade math! She always got low scores and everyone laughed at her.

HAHAHAHAA!!!!
How did she make it in!?!?!??
Another F!?!??!

Willow was even made fun of by a girl in a special education class. Willow was sad, but was so shy and couldn't say anything.. She just dealt with the laughter and the people making fun of her. Willow's friends started to worry about her.

HAHA!! Stupid!!
4
One day, willow met a kitten. The kitten hurt its hind legs and the mother left it behind. Willow felt so bad for it. Willow gave it some of her leftover lunch and some milk. The kitten used all of its power in the front legs to get onto Willow's lap. Willow was surprised.

5
Willow had an idea. Since the kitten couldn't walk normally, maybe it could walk differently. Willow put the kitten on its front legs with the lower body upwards, like a handstand. The kitten fell down. Willow kept trying. Willow was determined to make the cat walk again and join its mother.

6
Willow tried for days, until one day, a bully came to call Willow stupid. Everyone knew Willow was an easy target because she was so shy and wouldn't speak up or do anything back. The bully laughed at Willow and then, the kitten saw and came walking on its front paws in a handstand, sat down, and hissed at the bully. Willow was so happy for the kitten.

Stupid!!
Hiss(Stop)!!!!!
7
The kitten was getting ready to attack, but Willow stopped the kitten. The kitten still tried, but then, Willow yelled, "STOP!!!!" The kitten stopped hissing.
"Why would you do that for me?" the bully asked. "I deserve that. I'm so sorry that I ever bullied you. You are a really nice girl, but you were so shy and so easy to bully. Bullying a smart person just made me feel like someone important... Someone successful."

8
Willow started to think about how that must've felt. The bully sounded so sincere, like it wasn't an act at all. The bully was crying and everything. He wasn't a bully anymore. He was just a normal boy.
"One more chance," said Willow. "I'll give you another chance. Let's be friends."
The boy's face lit up and he hugged Willow. Willow smiled. She had made a new friend. The kitten seemed to regret all that hissing and rubbed its head against the boy's legs.
