For Hunter
As your family, we all know how difficult making friends can be, especially as a military brat. I don't ever want you to forget that the sacrifices your family makes for this country are the most respected and appreciated by all citizens. Yes, These sacrifices directly affect you, but I encourage you to always try and see the positive side.
I love you,
Kelly

Sometimes, when little boys and girls have a mom or dad in the military, they have to change homes a lot. Even though that home was a good one and you had a lot of friends there, you sometimes have to leave to go to a new home. This new home will also be nice, but you may feel sad leaving your friends behind.

Hunter found out that his family is going to have to move, too. His dad and mom told him that they are moving away to a new town. Hunter is sad because he doesn't want to leave his friends behind, but his mom and dad told him he would make new friends now.

Another boy at school saw that Hunter had no one to play with. He asked Hunter if he wanted to play, but Hunter said no. Hunter was sad that he couldn't go back to his old school and be with his friends, so he didn't want to play with anyone.

No, I don't want to play.

Hunter's mom and dad saw that Hunter was sad. They asked if he made any new friends at school today, but Hunter said no.
