I dedicate this story to my goldfish,
'Goldy'.
A pet that I just made up
because I have no one to dedicate this story to.
Hm... Probably should've just left this page blank.

Imagine, for a moment, a safe place. A safe place where food is plentiful, and where there's no danger. Imagine that there would always be food at the same time, no matter what.
What if I told you, it does exist? It does, as a matter of fact, but some fish aren't so happy with that.

It was early morning, and the food began to fall from the sky, just like it always had.
Phineas swam up to his friend, who was already eating, and just stared at the food.
5

6
"Hey, Ray," said Phineas, "you ever think about where the food comes from?"
"Y'mean other than from the sky?" Ray asked. "Nah, brah, never have. Doesn't really matter, though, huh?"
7

8
"Well, I guess not... I dunno, I was just curious." Phineas said, and then swam away.
"Okay, man. See ya later." Ray finished, and then left.

Phineas swam through the ocean, and eventually hit his head on something he couldn't see. No matter how hard he tried, he could never get past it.
When he looked past it, he saw some weird blob shaped things moving around. One of them started towards his home, causing Phineas to run away out of fear.

When Phineas got back, everyone was eating dinner. And they weren't leaving him anything!
It was too late to get anything to eat when he found Ray, who had just finished eating.
Phineas was panicking, and he needed to tell his friend what he saw.
13

14
"Ray!" Phineas began. "Did you see that big blob monster?!" Phineas spoke a little too loud.
"Blob monster? ... Dude, are you alright? You sound like you hit your head on the coral reef..." Ray sounded worried.
"No! Ugh, listen! There was a big blobby thing headed this way, and when I got back, it was gone!"
15

16
"Broseph, I think you need some sleep. You sound crazy." Ray slowly inched away from his friend.
Phineas sat in silence, trying to figure out what he saw. Suddenly, the sun flashed to darkness, like it did every night. Phineas sat in the pitch black, thinking.
The last thing he saw was a shadow of a big blob leaving the ocean, and then he fell asleep.
17

18
The next day, Phineas kept a watchful eye out, and sure enough, the blob came back. But just when it seemed at its biggest, it stopped. A few seconds later, food began to fall from the sky, and the fish started to eat.
"Ray?..." Phineas trailed off. "Did you see that?"
"See what?" Ray said with his mouth full.
