Chapter 1
2
There was a hero dog named Daisy. She was a Yorkie Terrier and liked exploring the house of her owner, Joe.
3

She had a mouse friend named Lily. Lily was a lone grey mouse that lived in a big mouse hole next to the bookshelf. They were best friends since Daisy had saved her from other evil rivals.
4
One warm spring afternoon, Daisy strutted to the mouse hole. She and Lily played hide-and-seek for half an hour.

One, two, three...
No peeking, Daisy!
5
They were interrupted when all of a sudden, stepped out the evil genius long-haired Persian cat, Frisky.
6
His sinister smile sent Lily running back to the mouse hole. Previously, Frisky would stalk Lily’s mouse hole in order to catch her for dinner, but Daisy always stepped in to stop him.

7
Frisky meowed wickedly. He roared as he pounced for Lily.
“No!” shouted Daisy. She jumped into the air protecting Lily, which sent Frisky flying across the room.
8
“Ouch!” Frisky said as he licked his paws to rub his forehead.
9

He jumped up and began to run after Daisy with big, sharp claws. They both ran through the doggy-door and into the front yard.
10
Frisky tripped over a small rock, which made him lose his balance..

Whoa, whoa, whoa!
11
Then, SPLAT! He fell right into the mud puddle (head first!)..

12

“Ewww!” Frisky whined while taking the mud off his face.
“That’s it!” Daisy exclaimed. She had a great idea.

13
CHAPTER 2
14
Daisy called Lily out from the mouse hole to turn the hose on. Daisy carried the hose with her mouth. She aimed it right at Frisky, who was still scraping the mud off his face and was not paying attention.

15

“Ready! Set! Turn!” Shouted Daisy. Lily used all her might to turn the nozzle and the hose on. Then, the water came rushing out with the force of a tsunami right into Frisky’s face! Wooosh!
16
Lily laughed and decided she wanted to join in the fun! She jumped into the gushing water and rode it like a water slide.
