1000 years ago, when everythingwas still in black and white...
4

An artist painted a very specialpicture with magical paints.
5

One night, after the artistfinished, moonlight fell on
the painting and something
amazing happened!
6

A dragon fairy appeared!7

And she cast a very special spellon the mysterious painting.
8

Present Day...
9
Four scientists exploredan interesting cave.
10

Inside, they found a sleeping dragon guarding a precious crystal. The scientists decided they
needed to study the crystal, so they removed it,
ever so carefully.
11

But before they could leave, thedragon woke up and grabbed a lantern
from one of the scientists!
12

"Oh great!"The scientists ran away and the dragonchased them out of the cave!
13

"Chuckle, chuckle," giggled the dragonas he flattened one of the scientists with his
big claws.
14

"No problem. I can handle this," said his friendas he scraped the scientist off the ground. He took
him to a large bucket of water...
15

...and his friend instantly returnedto normal!
"What happened?" the formerly flat
scientist asked. But before his friend
could answer, they saw that the dragon
was about to attack again!
16

The dragon roared! He lunged at thescientists who scrambled quickly out
of his way.
Slam! His attack missed and his teeth
were stuck in the ground!
"Roar!"17

When the dragon wasn't looking, one of thescientists took the crystal in his hand...
...and the cave started to collapse!
18

"ROAR!" yelled the dragon again as a boulder rolled across the entrance to his cave. The scientists
were able to escape just in time!
19

But, the dragon was VERY clever and so he wasable to cut a hole in the boulder!
20

"Give me that crystal!" the dragon yelledas he chased down the scientists and tried to
snatch the crystal from them.
21

But then someone cameto their rescue! It was the
Crystal Dragon's friend!
22

He was able to distract thedragon with his favorite
toy, a GIANT ball!
23

Here, boy! Fetch!24

The friend threw the ball and thescientists ducked for cover as the
Crystal Dragon trampled the ground
to chase the ball.
25

The dragon's friend said to the scientists,"I know that Dino's dragon house is
destroyed."
26

"But I can find him another one..."27

"Ahhhh! The dragon is back!"yelled the scientist as he
cowered in fear.
28

But the dragon's friend toldthe scientist, "You throw the ball
this time."
