Once Upon A Time

there were 3 little elephants. The three little elephants had been friends all their lives. Their families met when the circus came to Storybrook. Lots of different families lived in Storybrook.

One summer, Tusk decided that he was going to make a very special present for his mom. It had to be something spectacular. He decided that he would go into the forest and look around for something amazing. Tusk knew he should ask his friends to go with him but he didn't have time to wait.

As Tusk traveled further into the woods he was beginning to get discouraged. He had been looking all day but still hadn't found anything that was amazing enough for his mom. He was about to give up when suddenly he spotted something bright and colorful behind the tree.

Tusk walked slowly towards the tree. He couldn't believe his eyes. He had found something that was as beautiful as his mom. There was one problem though. He didn't have anything to put the flower in so that he could carry it home. Before he knew it out popped a wolf from behind the tree. Tusk was afraid. His mother had warned him all his life of the wolves and their tricky ways.

Suddenly, the wolf spoke. "Hey Tusk what are you doing?" Tusk was confused he wondered how the wolf knew his name. They had never met before. Tusk timidly asked the wolf, "Mr. Wolf how do you know my name?" The wolf quickly replied, "Well you told me as soon as I walked up silly."

Tusk thought for a minute but was very suspicious. After a few minutes he decided that it was rude to think things about people before you even know them. He replied to Mr. Wolf. "I'm great except for one thing.

" The wolf quickly asked, "What is wrong Tusk?"

"Well tomorrow is Mother's Day and I wanted to find something for my mom that showed her how much I love her. I found something but I have no way to get it home.

" Wolf quickly responded, "Well I have the perfect solution for that but we will have to go to my cottage to get it."

Tusk knew that he shouldn't but all he could think about was getting that beautiful flower home so he could give it to his mother. Tusk hesitated and then replied, "Well, I guess that would be okay if I went with you to get it." Tusk's mom had told him ever since he was little that he should never go deep into the forest. She told him that many scary things were in the forest and it wasn't safe for a young elephant to venture that far.
