This book is dedicated to Chloe Addison Swann for being such an inspiring friend and helping me make this book come to life. Without her this book wouldn't be published officially, and it would look the absolute worst it possibly could. Thank you for the inspiration, FaceTime call, and dedication. You are a true friend!

Once Upon a time, there lived a young boy named Jacques who had a very curious mind.
2

3
One day Jacques went wondering down to the sea side for a swim, when splashing in the water caught his eye far out in the distance.
4

5
Jacques walked down the pier to see what was making the splashing, and he could not believe what he was seeing.
6

7
Jacques was staring at a baby whale, which was very rare to see that close to shore. He had only seen them in drawings and in pictures.
8

9
The whale seemed to be enjoying his time. Jacques sat at the end of the pier and watched the baby whale until the sun started to set.
10

11
On his way home, Jacques kept replaying the actions of the whale over in his head. He became curious as to what other animals were below the sea waters.
12

13
As his curious mind was put to thought, Jacques came up with an idea that he was going to build something that would help him breathe under water long enough to explore different animals under the sea. He also wanted to catch a closer glimpse at the baby whale that he had just encountered.
14

15
The very next day Jacques went back to the sea to see if the whale was still there, but unfortunately it was not.
16

17
Jacques took his towel and laid it on the edge of the pier. He took out his notepad and pen and decided to draw anything he remembered about the whale from his experience and drawings in books.
18

19
He remembered that the whale had smooth skin with a tail and two fins. He quickly jotted it down.
20

21
After finishing his sketch, Jacques rushed home because he had an idea of how to make a suit needed to be able to swim under water longer.
22

23
He dashed inside and ran straight for his parent's closet where he fumbled through clothes to find his mom's silk pajamas. He also found a pair of goggles, his grandma's old oxygen tank, and flippers. He threw it all in his room and began his important work.
24

25
After multiple attempts of sewing together the silk pajamas, he finally connected them. He then zipped up his grandma's oxygen tank into a backpack, strapped the mouth piece from the tank to his mouth, put on the goggles and flippers, and grabbed a camera.
26

27
Jacques started toward the sea to start his new adventure. He was very excited and curious as to what he might discover.
28

29
When he arrived at the pier, he jumped into the water causing a big splash. The sea was incredible underneath. Before, he could not open his eyes because the salt would irritate them, but now Jacques was seeing everything for the first time.
