For Granny

It's Maisie Allenson here. I live in a magnificent mansion with my older sisters, Madision and Mia. I am 11yrs and 5months old and live in an affluent town in England called Ashbourne.
I am an actress and perform live shows at the Bromley Theatre; my shows include: Saving Jesus, One and Always and Our Little Star.
I acted as Martha in Saving Jesus, Hilda Henderon in One and Always and Mary in Our Little Star. I love my acting life but I wish I was just... normal. Like my friends: Patsy Brenchely , Sami Brookes, Paige Adams and Isla-Mae Taylor.
Sami loves sport, Patsy is amazingly flexible; Paige is as bright as a button with Maths and Isla-Mae's presentation never fails to exceed expectations.
My life has been taken over by acting. I just want to be free and not have my life full of drama. Today is the dress rehearsal for my new show, 'Which Way To Hollywood?'.
Anyway, after Dress Rehersal, Patsy is coming over as well as Paige which is super-exciting as today is Saturday and they are staying for a sleepover.
Mum is driving me to the theatre when she breaks the news.
"Sorry darling but unfortunately Paige and Patsy can't come today. Sorry." Mum says, looking down shamefully.
I sigh loudly and placed my head in my lap. Life is so unfair and I can't even get to see my friends.
"Oh babe, please don't do this! You understand, don't you?" Mum asks as I sadly turn away.
So here I am, once again at the Bromley Theatre. I change into my Hollywood/ Moviestar dress as Mum takes her place in the audience.
The curtains are out; the show has begun...
The show has now finished and I'm on my turquoise, flowery bed, reading my two favourite books: Grace's Dream and Stuck in the Middle. I'm not very happy but I'm not so lost in life: I don't know what I would do without Nana. She looks after me now Mum is heavily busy and Dad is in Recife, Brazil with my Great Grand Aunt Georgia.
Suddenly, there is a knock on my bedroom door. I jumped out of bed as high as a kangeroo and open the door. Curiously, I see Mia and Madison, nearly to tears.
"It's hard to break it to you..." Madison begins.
"... Nana is leaving" Mia turns away.
"What?" I screamed in shock.
"She's leaving to Guyana tomorrow morning!" Madison and Mia cry in unison. I slam the door angrily and slouch down with a wobbly voice, sobbing hysterically.
I go outside. Mum taps me on the shoulder but I ignore her furiously and stomp out, watching as her body is paralysed with fear.
"Why is my life so messed up?" I ask myself , First, my crush (Brady Roberts) has gone off with Marilyn Morgan (my worst enemy) then, I can't even see my friends, my life has been taken over by acting and now... Nana is leaving.
As I stroll onto the Stately Garden (my huge garden), a beautifully spotty Monarch butterfly flitters its wings. I hold my Siamese cat, Diana-Marie tightly, my eyes brimming with tears.
"When will things get better, Diana-Marie? When?"I ask as the sun slowly goes down...
The next day, I lay over the covers of my bedroom, feeling like my life is completely over. In the midst of the darkness is my best-loved teddy-bear, Sugarlump Sparkles, my two favourite classic books (given to me by Nana), 'A Little Princess' by Frances Hodgson Burnett and 'Island of the Blue Dolphins' by Scott O'Dell and my Disney Princesses blanket.
In the afternoon, I check Sami and Isla-Mae's plans for the day. Surprisingly, they invite me to a club called "C2C (Children 2 Christ, Christ 2 Children)" a Christian club run for children aged 7-12 for children to get to know Christ. That cloudy Saturday, I headed to the centre in my Chloe Chloe designer top, my jet-black Air Max 97 and Levi's skinny-leg denim designer jeans.
There I first meet a friendly man called Alan. He warmly welcomes me and introduces himself before leading me to the Prayer Room. Anxiety is a cavernous hole inside of me. As I make my way, my eyes are riveted to posters, showing Jesus as well as a Lion and a Lamb and scriptures from their holy book, I'm guessing.
Then, SWISH goes the door...
I quickly take a seat next to Sami and Isla-Mae who are surprised to see me (due to my busy schedule).
The leader, Reverend Colin Fisher starts with a prayer. Immediately, I am shocked to see everyone with closed eyes. Looks kind of disrespectful in my opinion.
After preaching, we then take offering which confuses me over how much money I should take.
Isla-Mae drops in 50p, Sami puts £1 in. I decide that £5 sounds generous enough.
Before the service draws to an end, the reverend says and smiles in an orotund voice,
"Remember children, the Lord will always be with you!"
The service has come to an end and I head home.
