Twinnafairy in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia
15
Twinnafairy arrived in Macedonia in the late afternoon. She saw a lot of people gathered in the park square and wondered what was happening. She flew down to one little girl’s shoulder, for she knew that little girls could hear her unlike grown-ups. She whispered in the little girl’s asking, ‘Why are all these people here? Is something wrong?’
The little girl saw Twinnafairy on her shoulder and felt extremely happy for fairies only chose a good person to show herself to.
16
17
‘No, nothing is wrong’, said the little girl, ‘it’s just the Flower festival in the City Park in Skopje, our capital’. Then the little girl took Twinnafairy closer to the flower procession where Twinnafairy could see all the children dressed like flowers parading and dancing on the street. It was wonderful to see so many different colors.
18

19
It was getting dark. As they walked toward the city center, our Twinnafairy exclaimed when in the middle of the square a fountain started spraying. Every drop of the fountain spurt shone in different light. It was magnificent, she thought.
20
21
Twinnafairy turned around and she noticed a big castle on the little hill just towering over the square. The little girl didn’t even wait for Twinnafairy’s question, she saw the glint in Twinny’s eye. ‘That’s our town fort’, said the girl. ‘It was built in the 15th century and was used to protect the people living in the town. And this bridge we’re standing on is called the Stone Bridge.
22
It survived a lot of battles and earthquakes.’
23
Thinking that Twinnafairy must be hungry, the little girl pulled the sleeve of the woman standing next to her and said that she was hungry. Her mother, for that who it was, took the little girl by the hand and lead her to the nearby restaurant where she ordered fresh salad for her daughter.
24

25
The salad was a riot of colours: green from the cucumber, red from the tomatoes, orange from the carrots, white from the cheese, brown from the olives. It was the salad the girl loved the most! Twinnafairy loved the colours and asked the little girl if she could try some of it.
‘But of course’, said the girl, ‘I’m not really hungry myself. I wanted you to have something to eat’.
26
Twinny enjoyed the salad as much as she loved the colours. And, after she was done with the salad, the girl asked for fresh fruit ice cream. She looked at Twinny and exclaimed, ‘Mommy, I want blackberry and vanilla ice cream!’ And her mother obliged. It was the most delicious ice cream Twinnafairy ever had. She looked around the tables and saw happiness.

27
This is what happiness is!’, thought Twinnafairy. ‘Spending time and enjoying it with your family and your friends’.
She felt drowsy and sleepy and fell asleep on the little girl’s shoulder. She dreamt of telling her friends in Fairytwinspaceland of what she learned so far.
28
But she knew this wasn’t her last stop. The very next day she was going to visit…

After a long travel Twinnafairy decided to land upon Puglia.
Apulia is a mix of both natural and man made sights: beautiful beaches, flat plains of wheat or olive groves, nature preserves, family run farms -.Twinna noticed that Apulia abounds in castles, churches and ancient ruins
