Once upon a time, there lived a girl up on the icy mountains named Freezerella. She lived with her mother and her father. She lost her mother when she was 7 years old because she was too ill.

She always lived in distress and agony because her father was never around when her mom died. Her father married a evil woman who had 2 daughters. Freezerella never had freedom. Her step mother and step sisters always treated her with no care. They mocked her and ordered her to do their daily chores and errands. Every day they made here sleep outside in the freezing temperature.

Her only source of comfort was her pet dog, Snowy. She named the dog snowy because he always liked to be outside, even in the freezing climate. He was never affected by the climate outside, even in the coldest days. Freezerella sometimes felt, Snowy was more than a dog. She felt like was her guardian. 

One day she was crying outside and she heard a voice behind her. The unknown voice said, “Why are you crying? I am with you." Do not be afraid.” When she turned in horror, she saw her dog knelt at her side. 

That night, when she went to bed, she couldn’t help but think of what she heard just hours before.

When she woke up that morning, cold and hungry, she looked for snowy since he brings her food scraps every morning. She looked and looked but Snowy was nowhere to be found. During her daily errands in the house, (the only time she is allowed in the house) she asked her step sisters if they knew where he was to which they replied, “Speaking of that ugly mutt, my breakfast was spectacular!” Hearing this, Freezerella sprang out of the room, sobbing as she ran. She didn’t know where she was going or how long it would take to get there. Panting, she stopped, fell onto the cold, snowy floor and cried, “SNOWYYY!!!"

She laid on the snow unconscious for hours. The next thing she realized was that Snowy was licking her in hope of waking her up. It had brought some food as usual and also a scroll with it. She ate a little food and shared some with Snowy.
