Cons
* The options for costumes and
props are limited
* Learning how to save the final
image can be tricky
Usage in My Classroom
I definitely plan to use this in my classroom most likely to allow students the opportunity to get to know one another.
Pros
* It is a simple website
* It can be accessed on a variety
of devices
* It can be used with many
different age groups

2
Powtoons
Pros
* You can save your presentation
and pull it up on any device
using the internet
* There are many free templates to
help you get started
* Most of the props and music you
will need are available to you
Cons
* It takes some time to learn how
to use the website
* Some of the controls are more
advanced and may not be able to
be used in lower grade levels
Usage in My Classroom
I do not plan to use this website in my classroom because it is not age appropriate. I do think this would be a great tool to be used in the upper grades to allow students to present their work to others (ISTE-T3c).

3
Augmented Reality
Pros
* It is engaging for most students
* It can be used on a variety of
devices you may already have
* It can be used with many
types of teaching content
Cons
* Sometimes it takes specialized
equipment
* You must have real life objects for
the technology to interact with
Usage in My Classroom
I do plan to use augmented reality in the form of interactive flashcards, Aurasma, and ZooBurst. These are all apps that can be used on a variety of devices and for many different age levels.

4
Virtual Reality
Pros
* It is a highly engaging way to
learn
* It can allow you to see/experience
things you may not have been able
to before
Cons
* The equipment necessary to use
virtual reality can be quite costly
* It takes the viewer completely
away from the real world and
imposes an entirely digital world
around them
Usage in My Classroom
I do not plan to use virtual reality devices in my room because I do not currently have the equipment necessary to do so and it would be too costly to purchase at this time.

5
Story Jumper
Pros
* Easy to Figure out how to use
* Accessible on a variety of devices
* Can be used with even very young
students
* Many props and designs available
Cons
* May take a little time to learn how
to use the program
Usage in My Classroom
As you can see above, I have had very few problems in using this website. I will plan on using this in my classroom to allow students the opportunity to create books showing me what they have learned about new material from class (ISTE-T2d).

6
Coding Applications
Pros
* Teaches students logic and problem
solving skills
* Many Apps available for
use in education
* Many of the apps can be engaging
games
Cons
* Most of the apps are geared to
the upper grades
* Some of the apps are complex and
difficult to learn
* Even the apps available for K-2
students have complex steps
Usage in My Classroom
I like the idea of using coding apps in my classroom, however the apps that I have explored thus far are beyond the level of my kindergarten students. I do plan to continue researching to hopefully find something that works in with my students.

7
360 Degree Video
Pros
* Allows the viewer to see the entire
area surrounding the video
* Many videos are available for
viewing on YouTube already
* It makes videos more realistic
without expensive equipment
Cons
* It is more difficult to understand
how to upload a 360 degree video
than a regular video
Usage in My Classroom
I will most likely not be creating any 360 degree videos in my classroom. However, I do plan to utilize the 360 degree videos that are already uploaded for viewing on YouTube.

8
360 Degree Camera
Pros
* Apps to take 360 pictures are
easily downloadable on many
devices
* Taking a 360 degree picture is
simple enough for all students
* It is much more interactive than
a regular picture
Pros
* Learning to take a 360 picture
may take a little time
* Not all apps are free
* Some apps are easier to use than
others so you may have to search
until you find one you are
comfortable with
Usage in My Classroom
I did enjoy using the 360 degree picture app on my phone, but I found it difficult to think of how I could use it in my classroom. I would definitely be open to using it, I am just not sure how at this time.
