Help reduce the waste on landfills. Discontinue the use of disposable products like foam cups and plates.

Earth is the third planet from the sun. This is our home.

Use a bucket to catch every drop until the faucet gets fixed. This water can be used to water plants.

Going green means to reduce and conserve resources to save the Earth.

If you're baking something for less than 1 hour, you don't need to preheat the oven. This will save a lot of energy.

Recycle used ink cartridges instead of throwing them out. This reduces landfill.

Glass takes many years to decompose. Instead of throwing out old jars, reuse them as cups or to decorate.

The kitchen is the best place to gather reusable trash to make compost.

Turn off the lights when they aren't being used. This will save a lot of energy.

Encourage your family to eat less meat. Producing meat wastes a lot of land, soil and energy.

Enjoy nature and the natural climate. Connecting with nature helps you appreciate Earth.

Keep our oceans clean. The ocean produces half of the oxygen we breath. It is also important to the water cycle for make drinking water.

P is for public transportation.
Public buses help the environment. Most city buses are hybrid which are harmless to the environment, and it reduces the use of cars that produce toxic gas emissions.
