KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT

The hall was packed for the annual Karate Championship Tournament tonight. Thanks to my training from Mr. Takahashi, I was able to advance to the finals beating my opponents with a series of basic moves. As luck would have it, I would be facing off against the kid who had been bullying me the past few weeks. He wouldn't be bullying me anymore after tonight.

Even though he had more experience and was bigger than me, I was able to defeat the bully and win the tournament. "You did it Nathaniel-son! This trophy is going to be shown off at my restaurant Arnold's for everyone to see." Despite winning the tournament, none of this seemed real. Sure the kicks and punches hurt, but I wasn't sure why I felt that way.

I had no time to relax as Tokyo was under attack by Godzilla. Fighter jets, the police, and the army had gathered to try to stop the rampaging monster. He was just too powerful to be controlled. He was going to destroy Tokyo and all of Japan. This situation called for a hero but not just any hero. And I knew just the guy to call.

I was just a nine year-old kid and I wasn't going to stop the fire-breathing monster from destroying Japan. But I knew somebody who could. I raised my arms to the sky as two black bolts of lighting crashed to the earth below. Nathan had disappeared for now. In his place was the hero that Japan needed and that hero's name was......MEGADUDE!

MEGADUDE!

"Why don't you pick on someone your own size Fire-Breath!"

"Sayonara!"

After a bruising battle, MEGADUDE was able to defeat Godzilla. The giant lizard was no match for me as I easily defeated him with my super-powered robo-suit. I picked Godzilla up and tossed him as far as I could into the Pacific Ocean. And not a moment too soon as I noticed the power on my suit was getting low. I felt myself getting smaller and smaller........

"There you are. You must be the last samurai." "That was Tom Cruise." "No, you're much taller" said the bearded warrior. "My name is Nakamura. I am a Ronin (Samurai with no master). I used to serve the Emperor but he was stealing from the villagers so I quit. He took my daughter and is holding her prisoner in his palace as revenge. Put on your armour and saddle up." "Um, sure."

"I think we're outnumbered."

"You don't say."

As we grew closer to the palace, I could feel the earth starting to shake and heard a loud rumbling noise. It was an army of samurais called "Bushi." "I'll fend them off while you sneak into the palace and rescue my daughter." "But there are so many of them." "Just do it. I'll be fine." I took a look back at Nakamura as he battled the samurais before heading over towards the palace.

I was surprised by how easy it was for me to enter the palace. That was until I saw two arrows go whizzing by my head. I looked around but saw no one. Hiding in the shadows was a ninja who emerged with a bow and arrows. A ninja? Cool! Actually not really. He brought some friends and I don't think they were looking to play Nintendo.
