On a day least expected a hero was born in a grocery store with a hole in the ground. Let me take you back where it all started. On a very foggy evening, Damion William went to the grocery store in his very old car. His car’s paint was falling off and the car had been crashed from the front. When he walked inside the grocery store he was struck by a rich smell of coffee that the workers were handing out as samples. He grabbed a shopping cart and went down every aisle.He grabbed his favorite cereal, Coco Puffs, the family size of course, although he lived by himself. Damian also got some double stuff Oreo's. He went ahead and went to the aisle where they sold Hispanic foods.

Although something was wrong. He started to slide backwards. There was a big sign that directly said, “ Be careful, hole in the ground.” Since Damian didn’t see the sign he fell right in the hole. While he was falling he screamed and thought the worst things possible. When he landed, he fell on mattress made of food and was electrified by a machine that he had accidentally kicked. He picked himself up and was frightened by an old man, in his 80 ‘s or so. The old man looked at him and told him something Damian would never forget,

“ Well, Well, look who the universe has picked to be the hero and save all the those poor people.”

Damian was speechless, he thought he was dreaming and tried to escape. The old man started to laugh and told him he would get hurt if he tried to escape.

Damian faced the old man and said,

“ Who are you?”

“I am the keeper of this mattress and you my son, you are very special.”

Damian didn’t know what to say or do, but he knew one thing. That thing was that the old man was on drugs or something and he was in a hole, in the grocery store.

The old man said, “ You have been granted powers to magically appear food whenever and wherever you want. You were electrified with this machine while you were on a mattress made up of food.”

Damian was about to speak, but all of a sudden he heard people screaming down at him if he was ok. Damian answered with a “ Ya, I am fine, but can someone help me it seems to get steamy and this old ma..”

Suddenly the old man shushed him and told him not to tell anyone that he was down there.

The old man told him a very important message, something Damian never thought of hearing.

“Son you have a very important power and you should use it for good. Help the people that can’t afford any food, help the poor. You, my friend, are to travel the world and give to those whom I've just told you about. Tomorrow you will receive everything you need including a new car, clothes, and accessories.” Damian started to laugh and said, “Sure and then a flying unicorn will appear.”

As soon as he said that he was hit in the head by a rope with a burnt end. It was thick and was sent to help Damian up. The workers said,

“ Hey, umm, can you hold on to the rope while we lift you up.” Damian quickly held on to the rope and started to go away. The old man said, “ Don’t tell them about me and don’t forget your mission.” Damian finally reached the top and was checked by a doctor, but everything was fine. He went home and went to bed because he was tired, had a long day, and had to wake up early the next day. He thought about the old man and thought to himself how it was non-sense

When he woke up he took a shower and when he went to pick out his clothes he was in shock. In the dead center of his closet he found like three pairs of new clothes. There were three pants with french fries all over them. Then there were three pairs of black sleeve shirts with all type of fruits and vegetables. In the middle of the shirt there was a hamburger.There were three belts with a pizza in the center. In the bottom of the closet, on the floor there were three new black ankle boots with a glass of orange juice drawn into it. When he went to get his car to go to the grocery store and find out what was going on, he found a shopping cart with a license plate in the front that said, “Food Man”.Damian was in awe, but he didn’t know what to do he went back to the grocery store and jumped right into the hole.

He lands on the mattress again and sees the old man next to him. Damian quickly stands up and cleans himself from all the dirt on the mattress. Damian said to the old man, “How come I have three new pair of clothes which are very weird? Also how come I have a shopping cart with the words Food Man written on them?”

The old man started to laugh and said, “ Sit down. Look, that is what I told you yesterday. You are here to save those whom can’t afford to eat. You my son are to travel the world and give to those. That is a mission you have and need to do.”

Damian was so confused he knew he was as humble as a potato. He couldn’t pull something off like that.

He quickly denied the offer and said, “ Look, I am just trying to be normal and I can’t do this. You need to find someone who can. I actually need to go to work. Do you perhaps know how I can get up?”

The old man was furious and said, “ You don’t understand, you need to do this please, I have been waiting for someone to make my dream come true.”

Damian thought about it, I mean could the old man be lying? Damian finally agreed and asked What he had to do to make this come true. The old man was so happy he even made a little dance that included a whip three nae nae's and a dab at the end.

Damian was impressed. The old man gave him a paper with two locations. The old man said, “ Well now that you know what to do, go ahead and take the shortcut. Think of the place you want to go and jump on the mattress. Good luck son.”

Damian was scared, he thought of his bed and jumped on the mattress. He just felt a smash of wind on his whole body and when he opened his eyes he was on his bed. He read through the pamphlet and felt so pressured. He went to his closet and got one pair of his french fry pants, one pair of his fruit and vegies shirt, his pizza belt, and his glass of orange juice shoes. He put them on, and walked to his mirror.

He thought he looked like a clown with a cheap costume and doesn’t get paid well enough. When he went to go wash his hands because they were dusty after reading the most interesting pamphlet, he noticed a thing that was weirdly shaped with two holes in them. He picked it up and put it on his face. Now his sad old clown costume was complete. He washed his hands quickly and went to his garage where there was his new car. When the old man told him he was getting a new car, he thought about a black sports car with monster sound system. Instead he got a sad old shopping cart which was black and actually worked better than the ones in the actual store that make noise and shift to one direction when you are walking straight.
