I see daylight and it is time to wake-up. If I lick my human Mama's ears and bite her toes; she will wake up too.

On goes my pink vest and my leash. I have to wear these garments because I chase rabbits, squirrels and birds.

Oh! I see Rocco, he is BIG and wrinkly. I bark at him and hide between my Mama's legs. He is harmless but I bark at him anyway.

I really need to pee and find some nice soft, green grass. I see the white-haired lady. She gives me a couple of treats and I sit for her.

Oh! Here comes the German shepherd, I think I will go home.
No! My Mama said she will protect me.
We go in different directions

Mama says, I should poop! I can't find the right spot. Here comes some tall green grass. I poop and feel better and make Mama happy.

I see Eugene, he is hanging his flag. What, no treats here.

I see Molly and Cookie down the street. They don't do anything and are no fun. Here comes Buddy and Fro. They are old and lazy and we just sniff each other.

On the way to my house, I see April. She has good treats. I sit for her and give her a couple of kisses.

I am on my way home and the need of my morning nap. What will happen later in the day?
???

Playing with Trooper

Who is that coming towards me?
Look at those pointy ears, those long legs, the beautiful gray curly coat and that cute face.

I think I am in love!

His name is Trooper; he is a rescue from a nearby shelter.
He notices me and after sniffing each other we begin to wrestle. It is so much fun.

His owner is my friend and likes me so much that she decided to get a dog instead of a cat. We play almost every day and after a while I get tired and want to go home to rest.

One time Mama invited them to come over to our house. It was fun to run around from room to room. Trooper peed on a plant and Mama hasn’t invited them again.
I showed Trooper where to find the best lizards and what bush to look for rabbits. I really don’t like to share him with other dogs and bark to show them that he is mine. I will have to stop that because it is not nice and I have to learn to share.

It’s is time for my nap and I will talk more about my adventures later.

It started out today in the usual way with my walk. I kept sniffing the street and gutters. I smell something different. It may be an armadillo or other wild animal. Mama got impatient and pulled me away.

I peed and pooped, came home and ate a big breakfast. We stayed home most of the day and I played with my toys. I love the squeaky ones.

I look out the window and see the big black dog named Jet. I want to go out and play but he didn’t want to play. We sniffed each other and the Mamas talked. Jet and I sat very quietly and listed.

We got soaking wet and I got dried off with a towel and rolled around on the rug. Mama had to use the hair dryer and wanted to do that for me but it makes a loud noise and hurts my ears.

It is dinner time and it has some yummy chicken in it. Mama tries to fool me and puts carrots and green beans mixed all together. I am hungry and will eat it all.

I heard some barking and I wanted to see who was outside. It is Trooper, Molly and Cookie. It was fun playing with all of them. Trooper and I said goodbye and ran off by ourselves. We rolled around in the damp grass and chased each other.
It was so much fun.
We said Goodnight and we may see each other later.

It is time for my last walk before bedtime. There are things in the grass that jump and I try to pounce on them but they get away. I see the little boys that live next door—they usually give me cookies. They have toys that I don’t like and sometimes they chase me with them.
I give them kisses anyway.

Mama and I sleep together but sometime during the night I go into the other bedroom where I can stretch and roll on my back.
