Once upon a time, there was a kindgom called Gboko. It was very peaceful and loving. Animals and people all lived together and played together happily.
One day, a monster called Blaster came to the Kingdom of Gboko. It was so big that it made the earth shake when it came to the village. Blaster's feet were so heavy that the walls vibrated when it was walking by.
The kingdom of Gboko was ruled by a wise king called Andrew. King Andrew summoned all the wise men in his kingdom and his wise advisors.
He asked them what they should do. The youngest of the advisors - Kelvin suggested that Blaster the Monster be fed with some food to distract it and keep it busy.

Then they will all be saved and the monster won't eat them. But they have they make sure it is fully fed.
However, Blaster the monster ate all the food they provided. The king held his jaw, and said they needed a better plan.

One the next day, the kingdom of Gboko was quiet. The sky was blue and the King was looking up to the sky praying for help.
Then an old man with a walking stick came by with a clever plan for the king. He saw Sharon by the stairs and asked after King Andrew. Sharon told him the king was in the garden.
While they were both in the garden, Blaster the Monster came back.
But they could not see it, because it was hiding behind some rocks. It had sharp beaks like an eagle's and big eyes like a ball.
The other animals in the kingdom of Gboko were living happy.
Some were jumping around the compound. While others were cleaning the house.
However, Sharon was on her way to meet her friends that morning.
She was singing some songs and jumping excited. She was happy to visit her friends. So she decided to use the foot path that leads to their house through the river.
Sharon was so excited that she did not see Blaster the Monster running past her.
She kept on walking happily to meet her friends.

Writing for kids has been a passion and I want other kids to enjoy the love of story telling, love, family, tales by moonlight and bedtime stories. As a child, I loved stories told with passion. Today, as an engineer, am designing these stories in motion for you all.
I got a BEng in Civil Engineering from NAU Awka, then a masters in University of Ibadan, before going into starting a PhD in Offshore Engineering at a top 10 UK institution - Lancaster University, with particular interests in offshore platforms, composite marine risers. I am currently a researcher in Lancaster University, UK.
