"Gentleman, I have called this emergency meeting of The Intergalactic Defenders of the Universe to discuss a major problem in the galaxy. As protectors of the universe it is our duty to keep every planet safe and sustainable. Right now there is a real crisis on Earth and they need our help."

"Moloch, you have been chosen to help the earthlings in their time of need. You can provide them with your many light years of experience and knowledge. Please report back to us as often as possible. Have a safe trip." "I will do my best Admiral Ork." Moloch boarded his spaceship and was off to visit the people of Earth. He had never been and was pretty excited to have been chosen.

It took Moloch 20 minutes to reach Earth. He would've been there sooner but he got caught in a traffic jam around Jupiter. He planned to visit Paris, London, Rome, and New York City during his trip.  In order to land on Earth without being detected, he flicked a switch that made his ship invisible. The ship gently glided on the Hudson River and came to a stop. A perfect landing!

Moloch was overwhelmed by how many people there were in New York City. And where was this "Big Apple" he had heard so much about? It was so noisy as people were talking and yelling as cars and trucks drove by honking their horns. Earth looked a lot more peaceful from way up high.

People were too busy texting or in a rush to even notice a pink, furry alien with bulging eyes. "Hello earthlings! Um, hello?" But nobody responded. They didn't hear a word he said so Moloch fired his laser gun into the air. And then everything came to standstill. People stood silently as all of the traffic came to a screeching halt. Moloch had their attention now.

"Alright, hold it right there Mac" the police officer said. "I'm not a threat. I'm here to help your planet. You see..." "Move it along weirdo. Nobody wants to hear what you have to say." "But I can help bring peace and goodwill to everyone on Earth." The cop started laughing as he motioned for his fellow officers to join him.

The first officer was soon joined by a couple of his colleagues. "Okay 'spaceman' tell us how you're going to save us. This oughta be rich" he chuckled to his fellow officers.  Another group of officers held back the massive crowd of onlookers that had started to form. This couldn't be real. it was probably just some guy in a crazy costume looking for attention.

By then the media had arrived to cover this strange event. Large groups of people were being held back by police barricades. "You have such a beautiful planet. Lakes, rivers, mountains, blue skies, lush forests, and jungles. And yet you continue to pollute it and threaten the existence of all of the amazing plant and animal species you've been blessed with."
